All the services one would expect from a town centre Post Office and found the staff helpful and friendly when visited. Reasonable range of stationary and greeting cards available and despite some adverse reviews still glad to have the use of this facility in the town than not.
I've never used the post office before, got confused with the que and the man behind the counter, didn't ask me to move politely and made me feel very stupid and then had great pleasure moaning about me too the customers what an ignorant man
My go to post office every time even though there are closer ones to my home. Super efficient staff and so helpful too.
As you all know, new experiences can be confusing but thankfully some people are kind enough to help you through it. I went to post a parcel and got greeted by a kind gentleman, pointing me in the right direction. However, when I went to pay for it, it was an extortionate price. I didn't really think much of it until I looked at the receipt after I had left. I got charged for a first class postage. Having to post something for the first time and I felt like I had been taken advantage of because I wasn't very familiar with the system. At no point in the conversation did I ask for first class, the lady that served me seemed miserable as if she did not care enough to help me. I won't be using this post office again.
Quick efficient service, obviously if you time it wrong you could have a wait, has all the service's you would expect from the post office, also you can collect your Amazon parcels from here. You can buy a variety of envelopes get passport photos here. Open until 2pm on a Saturday which is useful
Excellent help and service when trying to send a sat nav for repairs they stock everything for packaging what the discount stores claim to stock but always never tend not to be on the shelf when you need them.
I visited this post office today and the service delivered by the gentleman was appalling. He directed me to the one way system queue which I completely understood. When he called me forward there was a customer in front of me, as the gap was too small to get past I decided to go on the other side so I could maintain our social distance. He proceeded in having a go at me and when I explained I was maintaining socially distance guidelines as I live with a vulnerable person he showed no empathy and continued to be rude. There was no one stood behind me and I was ensuring that I was acting safely during this difficult time. He continued to argue and his tone was aggressive which left me upset and confused. I asked to be served by another member of staff and this lady was kind and professional. I explained I wasn’t trying to be difficult and that I was sorry for any inconvenience if caused to her and she was empathetic and understanding which I very much appreciated. However after finding out that the gentleman who served me was the manager I will not be retuning. I would also like to say that for someone who is meant to be a manager his appearance jogging bottoms and a red hooded jumper was rather unprofessional for someone working in a post office and part of the Royal Mail.
A young man at the till was extremely helpful and professional. I sent parcels to Iran for Christmas. A great customer experience at the post office in Tewkesbury this morning. Nice Christmas jumper by the way.
Took a load of parcels in this morning, the staff, a very helpful gentleman and lady were great! Thanks very much for your help in getting the parcels sorted, there were quite a few, due to a last minute change in Christmas family visits so lots of items to post. Just wanted to say a big thank you!
Organised time off work to collect a parcel to find out when I got to the postal office that the opening times on Google/Royal Mail website are not correct. THIS POST OFFICE NOW OPENS AT 10AM TUESDAY-FRIDAY not 9AM. I have reported the office to Royal Mail for the opening times being incorrect.
