lovely small bakery with the best scones in kilkenny County , very fresh , polite staff , never overly busy and most importantly , very good prices. Two fresh excellent fruit scones here less than 3.50 while lots of other places charge 3euro or more for 1 not so fresh not so good scones
popped in here for a sandwich and a cold drink. it was a hot day mini heatwave, seemed like and it was *hot* in the bakery, but service was cheerful and kind. note that there are no areas to sit and eat, but a very short walk brings you to Kilkenny castle, where you can sit and enjoy your food on the grounds. prices are very reasonable and the sandwich was incredibly delicious.
Quaint little bakery. I recommend the rhubarb tart. For coffee, be aware that the Americano is extremely hot and is put into a different cup than the flat white. It is prone to spilling and burning you hand.
Delicious and fresh. Great for a quick, affordable lunch. I had the chicken fillet roll

I don't really like sandwiches or rolls, I'm more of an "at the deli order bits and pieces" type of person but I would eat a roll from here everyday... delish!!!
