Watch out.nThe hotel has automated number plate Recognition. So even if you are just charging your car you will get a fine if you stay longer than 10 minsnGo into the hotel and register your vehicle. It's quick and free.nI so nearly got a fine. Be careful.
Rubbish slow chargers, then a £100 fine for ‘illegally parking’’ despite providing evidence of the charging correlating exactly with period in site. An absolute sham to rip off motorists, and appeals are automatically rejected. I will never use Campanile Hotels in UK or abroad, as they are complicit with the low life parking fascist company.
No issues charged my car at over 120kwh as usual.nn6 stallsnnMake sure to input reg inside the hotel.
Beware of the Tesla Charger trap at Campanile Northampton! I parked there to charge my Tesla, following all guidelines, only to be slapped with a ridiculous £100 fine for supposedly violating parking regulations that seem tailor-made to fine unsuspecting guests. This is nothing but a blatant money-making scheme by Campanile, exploiting electric vehicle owners. Shame on them for such underhanded tactics! Avoid Campanile at all costs unless you want to be scammed too.
Bit of a run around to find, but all good once there. Make sure you give vehicle registration to hotel.
