Tesco was okay overall. The store was clean and reasonably well organised, and there was plenty of stock available, which made it easy to find what I needed without empty shelves getting in the way. Checkout was straightforward and the visit was hassle-free. Nothing particularly exceptional stood out, but it did the job well enough for a standard shopping trip. A decent local Tesco if you just want to get in, get what you need, and get back out again.
Staff are rude and unprofessional. Me and my friend 25 year olds, went and bought some ibruprofen as my friend was unwell. I went to pay at self checkout and got asked for ID, baring in mind I was holding my car keys. I said no I’m 25, he said so? I said you’re telling me I look 15 with my car keys. He got his manager who said to me “you should be lucky we think you’re young, when you get to my age you want that to happen” I said this is ridiculous, they asked me to leave!
I am fed up of buying root vegetables which have not been stored properly. Root vegetables should not be stored in plastic bags without air ventilation. Nor should they be stored in a cold room. They should be stored in a dark room in paper bags. Over the past few months we have bought parsnips carrots potatoes also broccoli which after purchase we have had to throw away. This is not acceptable and the matter I've referred to trading standards also enviro health. Hopefully they will resolve the situation. I would like to add banana's oranges and apples should be stored in a dry environment.
Wait in line for 15 minutes to get served, don't want to use the self service because I don't work there, really feels like a bad move as a customer to have poor slow service especially given the price hikes
Love this shop, easily find what you want and is very big. Plenty of help if needed.
