I agree with all the bad reviews here. The customer service is absolutely abysmal and as a customer service manager myself it's sad to see. The staff are forever rude over everything, bags, taking tags off items, helping with the self-checkouts. Some don't even speak to you, I’ve had this often.nnThe Manager of this store needs to seriously start to manage their staff better because now you are failing at your job. Like so many here I now go to Hednesford Tesco where I am treated like a normal human being. We aren't asking for 5-star service, but we are asking to be treated with respect when spending money in your store.
I've never had a bad experience with Tesco, Heath Hayes. It's always a pleasure to shop there.nStaff are helpful, both in store and in the petrol station. If we have had any problems they have been resolved promptly and in a professional manner.
What in earth is going on with Tesco Heath Hayes. 3 times now I have gone to buy fresh rolls from the bakery and the bakery shelves have been virtually empty.. and today was Friday lunchtime !!! None of my visits have been either early morning or late evening. And every time I’ve been in lately they seem to have moved things in the grocery isles. This DOES NOT make me buy more.. it makes me annoyed and frustrated and I end up leaving the store with less than half of my shopping list fulfilled. Tesco Heath Hayes .. you have lost me as a customer from today!!! I will shop in Hednesford from now on..
I often shop here for small items. There is a woman who works at customer services and she had the nerve to ask me if i had paid for my shopping in the trolley as i was leaving and buying my lottery ticket. I felt embarrased. She then asked to see my receipt to prove my purchase. I told her the tills give you an option not to print a receipt to save paper and also, the alarms would go off anyway of goods were not paid for. She then went on to say its nothing personal. Its our policy to ask everyone. Seriously? Worst experience in tesco ive ever had. She has red hair.
I don’t normally write bad reviews but today I went to get items to make slime, so glue, contact solution and food dye. Went to go pay and smiled at her as she was scanning but she said the items I got were “suspicious” and called another employee and refused my items because I “laughed”. Traveled half an hour, excitement to just be refused. Absolutely fuming and upset. She explained how they had a terrorist training which I get but the items I got had no connection with that?! So upset.
