I enjoy visits to this store , the staff are so friendly they almost treat you as family . My wife and i find them so helpful , it's very reminiscent of the friendly local grocers shops from years ago .nIf you cannot find what you want they always seem ready to help you.
I realise it good to chat and be pleasant to customers,but there comes a point when it goes on for a little to longer, leaving customers waiting for an unacceptable among of time.
The variety of products has recently got very limited. Quick example is grated Parmesan cheese and Fries To Go. Suddenly not available. The new fridges are a good idea until you can’t reach them because they’ve got the large baskets filling half the aisle with biscuits so you can’t browse or get stuck behind someone who is browsing. The staff are always restocking which is good until you need something immediately behind them. It seems the shop is too small to cater for the community. I look forward to having a choice.

As a customer wanting to use disabled toilet, staff member came out ignored me actually disabled and ran like Usain Bolt into staff area, complained told it would be dealt with, whatever that means, ginger rotund vertically challenge with name tag Clairen2. Random check again, young girl pony tail no id tag, 31 items flung around shopping Trolley why bother scanning and packing
Honestly just had the rudest “non” interaction with a cashier called John . It doesn’t take much to say hello or to smile at a customer, especially if the customer does so to the cashier . I said hello , got no greeting or even acknowledgment back , and I proceeded to put my shopping onto the conveyor . I told him I was just taking one bag, no acknowledgement , didn’t tell me my total or ask if I have a club card , he just didn’t say one word . Didn’t ask for my receipt , I said thank you and left and still not one word . I can appreciate that he may have been tired , or even having a bad day . I have worked in supermarkets and dealt with all sorts so I understand how he may be feeling , but it doesn’t take anything of even cost anything to just smile or say hello back at someone . I hope John is okay , and that he feels better but just because you’re having an off day doesn’t mean others aren’t too and maybe just saying hello to someone is better than anything .
