It’s incredible how poor some large stores of - what can be a decent brand, Tesco can be.nnHardly any vegan food any more. Vegan cheesenCompletely vanished last time I was in.nnSaturdays are shocking: never enough staff - queues snake round the store so there’s no point in going in at allnIn that day.nnSaturdays are a total nightmare as, unless it's Xmas, the store manager never has enough staff. Huge queues on self serve and manned checkouts, and even worse since they got rid of 6 additional self checkouts.nToday we also found that they had scrapped the vegan cheese section. Not just reduced the selection, scrapped it completely. I realise some people will be thinking yuk or what's the point of vegan cheese, but some people have lactose allergies, so this is quite a disappointment for us, too. On the plus side, now that there's no point in us shopping there, we can avoid the queues.
Today a lovely man named Toby made our shopping experience so lovely he helped my mum who has mental health difficulties to pack and put her shopping in my car as I couldn’t after having an operation last week. I don’t know how we would have managed without the help of Toby today thanks so much for your help I really wanted to leave a nice review to show our appreciation for the kindness of your wonderful employees at the Chelmsford Springfield branch. Highly recommend staff are so helpful and friendly.
Employees here don’t know what’s in stock and what isn’t, wrong items are put on wrong shelves. Employees can’t even tell if it’s the right item. I don’t understand on what basis are they hired.
Bought a pair of slippers for Christmas, my partner didn’t want them so took them back to return with everything still on them brand new and they wouldn’t accept the return due to the price not being on there? Absolutely ridiculous as why would the price be in there when it’s for a Christmas present
Staff in this store very unhelpful! When I ask where the frozen food aisle a little man who worked there just said pizza pizza pizza and dropped his trousers! Not good enough!
