Went in to buy a single bottle of beer at around 10:30PM, I am over 18 years old and were with 3 other people over 18. I had my ID however, at the checkout I was told everyone with me needed to have their IDs checked even though I was buying 1 bottle of beer... One of my friends did not have ID the rest did so I was refused the sale. They said it was their policy when buying alcohol everyone with the person buying should have ID Which is ridiculous and makes no sense. I can't find that anywhere on the policy. Will take my business elsewhere in future.
I took my elderly uncle into the store today and he began to feel ill. All staff were so kind and caring, they immediately found him a seat and some water. They even offered the use of a wheelchair should we need it. Brilliant service from the whole team, will definitely be using the store more regularly.
Reasonable for quality and value. Can be slow restocking when goods sold out.
Medium sized store, not a superstore not an express. Petrol station/Esso-Tesco is 7 mins drive away.
A bit of an old fashioned small Tesco that supplies a good range at pretty good prices. Own brands of staples really good value. Can get congested because it is so popular. The local school causes timed invasions. Benefits from the absence of a nearby Aldi or Lidl. Pity they did not expand the site when they had the chance. The locals were strangely up in arms at the prospect of an improved store. Check out and customer service staff well trained. Best value in town.
