I always go into this Tesco but I’m a little bit nervous to now! I went in on an evening with my 3 year old and I am pregnant as well, but was harassed by a security guard. I paid at the self scanner and did a scan as you shop. I didn’t get a receipt because I don’t like to waste the paper! I handed back the scan as you shop and had my shop checked as well. As we were leaving we were harassed by a security guard who blocked my way. I had my shopping which I can’t carry long due to pregnancy pelvis problems I am nearly at my due date and had my toddler. The security guard couldn’t speak English so I had no idea what he was asking for but he physically blocked my exit. I managed to stay polite but I really won’t if that happens again. So embarrassing, he saw me pay as well! No idea what he wanted. They need to train their staff better. Such a shame because most of the staff in this Tesco are great.
It’s good to have a big Tescos locally but it does not stock a lot, good for a quick food shop but definitely overpriced now, one small trolly can easily be over £100 now
Some staff members really do need some retraining on their challenge 25 policy because using challenge 25 to settle playground scores from days long gone by isn’t cool, and I’m pretty sure should be against store policy and staff conduct.
Don’t bother shopping at Tesco. When you use the scan as you shop scanners the staff will always check your shop before leaving making it a pointless system. If Tesco can’t trust its customers to use the system then don’t bother offering it, they treat everyone using self scan like criminals.nnCinderford was better off with a big co op.
Was surprised that they never extended the old coop building to make a bigger store and possibly made use of the old doctors surgery.nSome of the isles feel very cramped and you cannot stop with your trolley to have a good look on the shelves. The fresh vegetables and frozen food isles are too spacious. They could of set the layout better.nI visited on a separate occasion on Christmas Eve, me and my mum noticed even though there was lots of staff. Quite a few were too busy chatting to people and being quite ignorant. Blocking isles and gathering in the most awkward spaces where customers had to go in another direction. At the self scan area i kept trying to get some members of staffs attention to get help and they were just stood doing nothing. That isn't good customer service.
