I have been visiting this store for the past 2 years regularly and what i like the most is its not too busy as compared to other extras and most of the staffs are friendly as well. I say again most of the staffs but not all of them. Some are very rude and they don't even care about the customers and not helpful and last time when i visited one guy at the till was teasing me.
I went into tescos in thornton heath today I brought sone nappys for my grandchikd .I have a hidden disability and a member of staff yelled at me asking if I had a receipt. I was no where near the self checking till I went to the normal tills instead .and i used my club card .and the man shouted at me in front of every one embrassed me and humiliated me ...where everyone looked at me .I asked for a manager. Her name was mary and she said she would have a word .but I'm not satisfied. With that at all I left so upset ...how dare he speak like that to me in front of people and ask me where is my receipt. It was in my hand ...
I believe this store is up for closure. There is not one good thing about it. The lifts and toilets are never working. People with young children, elderly and disabled people have to walk up a dangerous flight of stairs to get to the shop. Tried phoning the store today to see if the lifts are working they offer you the phone shop and the pharmacy only. Hang up and went to Sainsbury's instead. I know I can get everything I need there. A bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. Wake up Tesco and smell the coffee.
This store is an absolute tip.nnBroken, expired, and spilled stock everywhere. Poor placement. Clothing is a mess. Toilets out of order.nnI've been to big Tescos up and down the country. They're all excellent, except for this one. How is this one so bad?nnThankfully I needed no assistance. Judging by the other comments, there is none to be had!
Why do you sell a rotten and not fresh vegetable? This is second time I've found your carrot in very poor quality and this is not only carrot. Prices just still increasing and an overall quality is decreasing. Better go to a local market and buy fresh groceries there.
