It's a reasonable size Tesco, in the town centre so easy to access.nHas self-serve tills that suit me, but most are cards only, which can be a pain if you want to pay cash. It also can cause a line to develop.nSaw the honey but who in Chippenham is paying £20 for a pot of honey?nAt least they are security protected
This Tesco store here in Emery Gate was the best ever, and my favourite supermarket of all time, because i used to work in a charity shop a few meters away, and iv spent hours here with customers in and out of our charity shop, and most go in and out of Tesco all the time, including me, iv never been in to Tesco and not spoken and chatted with at least someone i know, there was a lot of community spirit here, its so upsetting to see this wonderful Tesco store close for the very last time, i wood not of missed being here this afternoon getting my receipt for my stuff at 16:58 on checkout 013, ill treasure this receipt always, you guys who worked here and served me, thank you all so much, Sarah.
Really Disgusted with this Tesco. I parked in disability parking. Then saw it was a pay car park so I only had a £5 note on me, so I went into store to get change as it says £1.30 for 1 hour. In store refused to give me change. So I took my custom to ALDIs and spent over £100.
Staff helpful and friendly. Well stocked shelves and a decent variety of stock also. Great parking with a cafe and petrol station.
Tesco superstore has shut and now there is a Tesco express in the high street by the River Avon
