Decent selection of food. Staff mostly very pleasant, especially Anna, however one very rude woman with blonde hair kept loitering and watching me scan my shopping. She did not do this with any other shoppers, just kept standing over my shoulder and looking at me the whole time. Really awkward experience. I’m not sure if she thought that because I am a teenager I would steal items I hope not- that’s very discriminatory. I scanned a carrier bag for some reason the till told me it wasn’t placed in the bagging area - it very much was and the woman marched over and rudely said “You need to PAY for that, that’s stealing!” I could understand if I had not scanned it, but it was clearly visible on the till after she sorted it. It made me feel really ashamed, and I was scared that other shoppers were going to think I was a thief. Additionally I had forgotten to scan something I was in a hurry due to how uncomfortable I felt and had missed it. She snatched my basket and said very rudely “Are you buying that or not? You should not put things in your basket that you don’t plan to buy.” I apologised and scanned the item. Not professional at all. This lady needs to watch her tone with customers.
Pleasant enough shop, but not of the size I would describe as a supermarket. It is in between a Tesco's Express and a Tesco's Extra. The selection is OK and there is a good choice. It is situated in the heart of Aviemore with it's own car park.
Staff need better training on hidden disabilities. Ironic as both toilets display a sign about hidden disabilities! 2 members of staff refused to give us the toilet key for my autistic son to use the toilet. One even told us to go and use the paid public toilets, despite the fact that we were also shopping there!
Small but adequate, on the same scale as a tesco local. Does click and collect for tesco direct orders so that's useful, can be a bit of a nightmare getting in and out of car park during busy times of the year.
I really love the food in Tesco. THey are pricce acceptable and tasty!
