Why has this store not got designated scan and go checkouts anymore. My last 2 visits, I've had 2 queue behind 5 or 6 people because also, manned checkouts don't take the scan and go handsets. It's a complete waste of space having scan and go when you still need to queue up anyway. I'll stick to morrisons as their fruit is way cheaper than Tesco and also much nicer.
New tills do not show what items include VAT. There used to be a little star on VAT'd items. When I ask for a VAT receipt which is possible !! Most staff are not trained to get one out of the system. Even the till supervisor today cannot do it Saturday 07/01/23 . So annoyingly I get sent to customer service by the supervisor again. Then I wait for ages at customer services creating ques all the time. Who also are ALSO NOT TRAINED TO GET A VAT RECEIPT. So having created large ques at every step of the way. I leave loosing 20% of my spend. This is not a good shopping experience.
Drove 25 miles specifically to buy Fruit and vegetables all we managed to buy was blueberry cucumbers spring onions. Hundreds of gaps on the shelves throughout the store. The worst experience I have ever had in a tesco store. Was untidy as well.
Absolutely horrible service, as soon as I walked in I got told I smelt like potato waffles with beans and cheese. Soon I got kicked out because of my race while I was looking in the meal deal section for cheese and pickle sandwich and pickles onion monster munch. Will not be coming again
An ok Tesco but product choice is limited due to smaller size. I much prefer bigger stores. A handy Tesco though for everyday essentials.
I fell out of love with Tesco for a while, but with a clubcard discount it actually makes it top of my list again. Well done Tesco!
Absolutely beautiful place. Direct access to the beach. Fabulous for families and a dog friendly beach.
Disgusting and racist staff. Very bad attitude. Security guard doesn’t dress well and very abusive as he abused someone who was underage and push another person too for no reason as he could’ve asked nicely. He rushed and ran into a little underage kid and pulled out a toy gun from his bag and accused him for stealing leaving his hand to bleed. Sweared so much at that kid too. Pushed his family member after when family members said don’t speak to him like that his underage. Overall the situation wasnt handled well, I felt bad for the boys as I was standing there and witnessed all thats happened. It looked like he was just racist and manager didn’t seem like what she was doing either when her job was to calm the situation down and ask question in the private. But yet she took that racist security guy side. Some of staffs needs to be changed and security and also the manager. I wish I could give this store a 0 rating but I have to rate 1 for me to leave the reviews.
Shop here on regular basis. Helps save money with Clubcard prices on selected items.
Nice friendly staff who work hard keeping the store tidy and well stocked. Everyone has been friendly when I have had a query. Only gripe is that the staff sit on the floor outside smoking which isn't a good luck. Maybe a smoking shelter in an inconspicuous place is needed.
