Empty shelves seem the norm in this store, lines appear and disappear at random. And while shopping I'm dodging staff with wheeled cages who seem to be constantly restocking but still...6.30pm, Saturday evening, 3.5 hours to the store closing, only 2 cartons of fresh cream in a very empty fridge. Just one example. Very disappointing place. One plus though, the staff on checkouts and restocking are always frieand helpful.
Never a complaint they always had what was needed and the prices are reasonable. It was nice when the cafe at the front was open as it gave another excuse to shop and then eat. Parking area is always busy and sometimes feels too small but for a small shop to walk back with the place is perfect. It is big enough to get most things but also not huge enough that is crushes local businesses.
My friend & I nipped into get a few things before going to visit our friend who had not long had a baby. It’s a huge place with a coffee shop. Great for browsing and doing your big shop!
They need to do something about the smell of dead rats in the fridges, it’s bloody awful and make me sick.nI don’t know how they get away with it.
What an uplifting experience today shopping in the Haddington Tesco. Christmas food shopping made so much better with the Elf handing out chocolates and making us laugh. He was so good with the kids too. The Elf’s name was Bob and he fair brightened my day I can tell you.
