Poor and small store for a town that has almost doubled in size in the last 10 years. Poor organic selection of fruit and veg. Veg shelves are empty when you come later in the evening and before 8, sometimes even 9am in the morning. They have had a self check out area for ages but now they have 3 new self service belts where you stack your items, scan them and then put them away again. Which is stressful, especially when the machines do not recognise your bags or you have a big shopping or 2 separate ones. Only 1 normal till was open today with a huge queue. Why making shopping so difficult? Why do you eliminate jobs and let customers do all the work?
No stock and the store is flithly. Can't blame Christmas shopping just bad management and planning. Now going to have to waste Diesel going to Edinburgh or Dunfermline.
Not hugely impressed, staff are lovely and pleasant but at 2.30pm it took 40 minutes to be served hard poached eggs on toast in a very quiet cafe
Tidy and bright store. Not very big but has everything. Lovely bread section.n5/11/25 and they're bringing Christmas foods out... lots of cheese out front.
I visit this store quite often. Usually, I have no real issues. But today felt a little off. Checkout female was so distracted by another male staff member that she kept turning around with her back to me. I tried on 3 occasions to make light conversation but she never acknowledged. Quite rude.nI do have praise for the Tesco mobile phone part of this store however. Staff who work there are always extremely helpful.nThe coffee shop is decent enough and reasonably priced.nGents clothes section is quite ridiculous in size compared to ladies and childrens.nCould be better. 3 out of 5 for me.
