They've been reorganising the shop to make it easier to get around, always confusing but once sorted I think it will be better. Had to ask for help from a few staff today and they were all really helpful and friendly. Produce fresh and looking good, 99.9% of the shelves fully stocked up, it was quiet and peaceful and very calm. A good place to shop.
The sale assistant was really rude and full of herself, she wasn't listening at all. I was doing self check out. She needs a proper training on customer service and should start build a habit of listening to others, especially the customers. It happened on 08/04/23 at 15:55 at Catterick branch.
I went to Tesco Mobile with my broken iPhone, requiring a replacement. Liam, who was the only shop attendant working that day, quickly and efficiently advised me on the best iPhone for the high volume of storage data I was after, whilst also juggling with the service of many other customers in the shop. He was calm and communicated early realistic waiting times of when he would be able to help, which aided in my planning of other shopping. When I came back, he helped to transfer all of my data across from my old phone to my new and answered loads of queries that I had. He was extremely polite and likeable and did really well when working by himself in a very busy shop. Liam definitely deserves a bonus and should be recognised and rewarded for his great customer service. Thank you, Liam!!
Great store. Nice and big. Good range of clothing. Normally stocked up. Only thing I would say is it does get quite busy and does have queues during those times. Clean and friendly
A lovely lady short grey/white hair served us unfortunately didn’t catch her name but Sunday the 5/03/2023 16:00 exactly and she was just a fantastic representation of your business, if possible please praise her as she was great !!
Very busy but clean and a good supply of everything. Staff cheerful.
Credit where credit is due. Tesco last week was shocking. No stock and overcrowded. This week, "Social Distancing", which outside the shop is being policed by Tesco staff, has calmed things down. It's true, not all items are available since the madness of panic buying, but they really are getting there. A great effort by Tesco staff doing their best in difficult times. It's difficult inside to keep 2m at all times, despite areas and spaces being marked out. This I feel is mainly due to thoughtless shoppers. There is plenty of space in the shop as staff are limiting the numbers within the shop. So a bit more care is definitely needed by shoppers. 2m is as important inside the store as well as outside. 31 Mar. Well done Tesco, heartening to be able to buy a 4 pack toilet roll. Nearly back to normal. Outside queue is well ordered and thankfully shoppers are much more careful inside.
Clean and tidy, good range of products. You do need club card to get discounts, and they are added value compared to not having club card.
Very large Tesco store with a wide range of food, clothing , electrical, health and household goods. The variety of fresh produce is good as is the meat selection. Did not see an in-store fish or meat counter but there is a bakery. Being on a millinery garrison I was surprised that there was a wider selection of oversea foods. Also the vegan offerings seemed to be more limited than I have seen in other stores. Staff ere friendly and helpful, although it was very quiet during the visit. The car park is relatively large and there are a number of EV charging points. Access for mobility impaired is good.
Absolute joke of a store. Ques are half way down the aisles. With only a few staff on the tills, with a bunch of self serve tills closed and staff stood around talking. Not the first time.
