This is a tehular scene with shopping carts. It did not happen once, i have noticed this has become a norm at this Tesco with shopping carts being left blocking the path for drivers!! At least for last 3 months i noticed this had become more frequent! Not sire if the Manager is aware or how come this has not been noticed yet! I wanted to talk to the manager regarding this matter, but obviously, it was not possible as the manager was not available at that time.
Standard Tesco superstore. Loads of parking space, fuel, car wash services. Located just adjacent to public transport so helps if you don't have a car. Store well lit, spacious and shelves filled up regularly. Self scan makes things quicker for billing.
This is our local, we've been using it for the past 3 years or so. The store's ok if you avoid busy times and is usually well stocked. Seriously though - The new speed-bumps... WHY? Whose idea was it to fit those? They're so steep you can barely go slow enough over them to avoid feeling like you're doing permanent damage to your vehicle, and in fact I witnessed others stalling their cars just trying to inch over them. Give you head a wobble and fit something more reasonable, it's enough to put me off coming.
Elmers end tesco Bad customer service experience at the customer service counter.It was totally alright to use the Tesco screenshot all this years and ok to scan the screenshot of my club card which works perfectly fine at the self service machines ,until you want to exchange or return using the club card screenshot and they treat you like you have stolen someones club cards.Ridiculous !and store manager was no help and zero customer services. First start with changing self service machines not to accept screenshots would be a good start than blaming the customers.
I get the feeling that white staff don't like all the diverse clientele. Every time I come, I notice them ignoring Asian and Black customers. Some customers are clearly racist too. My wife was literally waving at the self service person - very short older white woman with grey hair and glasses. She looked at us multiple times and kept turning away. The other 3 white female staff nearby just stood and pretended not to see us. The 1st woman even passed us to help the white woman next to us. It wasn't till a young Black girl returned to the self scan and sorted us out. They go all out for white customers, especially miserable, bitter white women like themselves. Every time I come here, we deal with something like this, substandard service because theyre clearly racist.
Absolutely unreliable rubbish home delivery service. 3 times in a row so far have got into a situation when I order for home delivery, they postpone it/reschedule it and it just never happens. Over and over again. Avoid them if you plan to get your weekly shopping delivered, better to visit in person if you can.
Well stocked and clutter free which makes an easy shopping experience and to top it up, it has a massive car park
I've been a reasonably big fan of this Tesco but I'm fed up now with their meat/butchers dept. In the past I've had problems with their chicken tasteless rubbery so much so I don't buy from them anymore. However we've always found their lean mince excellent but no longer. I bought 500g lean mince 5% fat on Feb 21 with a Feb 26 use by. Got around to cook it this evening and it stank - totally off. Of course by the time I've trekked all the way back to Elmers End it will be too late. So i'm lumbered with my receipt and hungry family . Will this be the straw to break the camel's back and we resort wholly to Lidl and Aldi altogether?
A normal Tesco, plenty of products, prices on some items are competitive.
I have been at this SuperStore Tesco's and i have decided to give 3 stars as its a SuperStore but i guess need more signs of where to walk by as when you park and where to collect you good when you order from online yes friendly staff as Tesco's service spacious inside have a cafe and facilities are clean but as I said the car park need a bit more signs as if you are the first time in there is easy to get confused
