My wife bought a new phone from Tesco mobile at Chesterfield and it's been a nightmare. Phone is still not working right after 4months. Dispite countless hours of ringing Tesco customer service to try and sort this out. The manager in the shop,Craig made a mistake and put my number on the phone contract instead of my wife's number. This then messed up my tariff. He then tried to blame us saying we hadn't told him it was a joint account. The first thing we asked when we went in the shop was ask for my wife to have her own account,but they refused because my wife failed the credit check. This has been the worst buying experience of my life.

We had an absolute nightmare when we upgraded my phone contract! We wanted to keep my original number and were told it would take 24 hours to complete, the request was put in on Friday. 24 hours later on Saturday the number had still not been changed so customer services were contacted again We were told it would take 1 or 2 hours to complete the number change, this was not the case. I rang again Sunday morning and was told to switch the phone off, remove sim, replace sim and turn phone on and number would be changed. This was not the case. I left it a few more hours turning phone on and off and the number still had not been changed, so I rang customer services again and was told that an application had been put in and the number would be changed on November 2nd and that it would take ANOTHER 24 hours for the number change. This was not the case as it actually took less than 24 hours to change the number

Fabulous people to deal with.  My sister needed basic mobile just for emergencies and they were very helpful. She is now  more relaxed using her new Doro great and simple. Both staff guided her through new purchase and young man at the till got her new phone ready to charge. FABULOUS!!!!!

Just to say, "A MASSIVE thank you" to Nigel for sorting my husbands phone out!!! Almost 2 years it been a real headache, the biggest problem now is,, I can't get him off it !

Tesco phone shop is situated on upper floor with use of a lift and  travelator wheelchair access. The shop is on the left side separate to the store. Abit on the small side with limited stock available but friendly staff.

Great service from Glen go see him he doesn't try to sell you more just gives you what you need excellent first class

Nigel and the staff are great giving very good advice and very helpfull dealing with a non tech person like me
