I contrast to the other reviews I've seen! I've been using this service for a good number of years. I order online using the Airmid app. It tells me when mine will be ready and most times I get a text opt in to say it's ready. Odd times it's not been ready but then they normally say 15-20 mins and it's done. Today I needed one of my items sooner than it was likely to be ready so I popped in and asked yes there was a queue if it could be done for Saturday or Sunday. No problem, 15-20 mins and all my items would be done as long as they had stock. True to their word it was all ready within that time. This isn't the first time I've had to do this either my ineptitude not theirs. They have the same issues as anywhere else has. Staffing need trained people, supply issues and time constraints. Kicking off doesn't help although I appreciate it can be frustrating!!
AWFULL service. Asked to come back twice to pick up tablets and not in again very frustrating. Over 2 weeks prescription has been there. Very slow in service. Do they need more staff, I don't know, but they definately need to do something.
I have been trying to get through to the pharmacy for 5 days regarding an urgent prescription. The phone continually rings, I have tried all times of the day and even called tesco customer service and they could not get through. I've just had major surgery and need medication and normally text when it's ready bur this was submitted 21 days ago and I still don't know if its done. Due to the op I can't drive so I have to get someone 10 miles away to go for me so I don't want them to have a waisted trip but without this medication my organs will fail yet I can't get through to anyone that can help. Absolutely disgusting.
No matter how far in advance a prescription is submitted, when me or my husband turn up to collect, it is never ready. Quite often we’re told there’ll be a wait of 40 minutes. We used to attend a Tesco pharmacy in New Milton where there is a significantly large elderly population requiring a myriad of different medications but they were super efficient. There is something seriously wrong here.
Everytime I go to pick up a prescription they can't find it and say it's not been sent by the doctor but the doctor has sent it and can give you a time and date. Useless
I waited 9 days for a prescription to be filled, to be told numerous times they had misplaced it and will call me once they've found it, never once did I recieve a call or text. On the 9th day I went back to the pharmacy when I knew the manager would be there to be asked "haven't you been to get it?" I replied "no, that's why im here", to then be told "we have lost the prescription" I considered this shocking and alarming due to the nature of what was on the prescription. This was extremely unprofessional and potentially very dangerous. Of the medications I was collecting one is a controlled medication and another is of a high dosage and very dangerous to stop taking without slowly reducing the dosage, not to mention could be harmful to someone if they had wrongly taken them. 9 days to fill a prescription is diabolical what if this happens to someone who needs medication to sustain their life?
Telephone service non existent Either engaged phone off hook? Or rings off. This facility dragging Tesco’s reputation to lowest levels of customer service. Get a grip someone who has any self respect
Short staffed and over demanded but they do their best xx they in it aswell xx
Amin problem with meds, I was made to feel irritating and demanding. Just wanted better communication and pleasant reassurance. Left the store feeling like a bad person, plus anxious about not getting my meds.
Always helpful, got me out of an emergency prescription difficulty last year and went out of their way to find out where my prescription authorisation had got lost - They chased up 111 to find out where the prescription was and got an authorisation to proceed with prescription. They did this to help me out when I was in difficulty - so thank you so much.
