NEVER, NEVER USE THIS SADDO RUBBISH TIP OF A PLACE: rude staff, now ALL pay at pump, car wash broken, air line broken, no diesel on my pump, and the price isnt even more than a penny or so less than friendly nearby Shell.nJust the pits, but dont stop here
The pumps which are signposted as pay at kiosk are pay at pump, but a small handwritten sign can't be ready from your car, so you queue up only to find you can't use the pump. Last visit also had no premium fuel at most pumps too, I left without filling up.
4pm on a Tuesday, and the shop is closed with a sign saying only pay at pump. That only takes physical cards with a PIN, so if you want to use a 21st century payment method such as contactless or Apple Pay, or if you prefer to use cash, then tough - you’ll need to go somewhere else.nnBut at least there’s no queue.
Car wash broken and out of service since early December 2024. No sign or information of when it will be fixed. Very shoddy organisation by Tesco.nnAgain broken in June and then August 2025. I think this breaks once per month , completely shambolic and must be made of cheap parts to be so unreliable!!!
The car wash facility is convenient, however the machinery and area around it are absolutely filthy which means your car ends up looking as bad as it did when you exit the wash as when you enter, A couple of hours with a jet washer would resolve the situation once a month.
