Usually fill up at Tesco beccles 2 weeks ago car packed up..Broke down on main road between Hales and Stockton . AA changed Coil pack .sparks plugs changed still no go. Got it home called mechanic problem was water in fuel tank had to have it drained...WILL NOT USE TESCO AGAIN. ended up costing me too much money.
Closed on Sunday at 8pm yet there site said open till 12…
This week I decided to venture out shopping for the first time with my 2 1/2 week old newborn baby. On the way to Beccles a tyre pressure alert on my Audi flagged so I stopped at Tesco Beccles to check the pressures and put some more air in. I was panicked when one of the tyres showed as only 22PSI, and after the pressure would not increase at all, an error message appeared! I was sure that I had a puncture and with no spare tyre provided with my car, I thought I was destined to call breakdown. I popped into Wheels & Tyres round the corner who confirmed the Tesco machine clearly had not been calibrated recently as the actual pressure was far higher than 22PSI, and it had simply dropped a little from the stored values in the car.nnWhat should’ve been a straightforward journey and air increase turned into a very stressful situation, all because the Air machine was not working properly. Please get the machine calibrated soon so this doesn’t happen to other people!
Popped in for petrol pleasant staff and after I had paid drove across to the airline but had issues with it. A chap came out to help at first thinking it may be my valves but did concede the head was faulty. Very helpful though.
Usually half the pumps are closed. I just don't understand why. So often you'll go to a lane or pump to see cones there, so back you go. Awkward. Also, prices are a rip off in the kiosk, but that's to be expected. On the bright side, the petrol seems to work.
