They have the best pricing in the area which means it gets busy. The entry and exit is not well designed so it easily gets backed up with cars. Of late a couple / few of the pump stations and card payment points are always not working which means that it gets even more busy.
The fuel here is blatantly watered down to make it cheaper. Almost 100 miles less to a full tank, compared to the BP garage 100 yards away, all for the sake of saving 3p a litre? Nah you're ok Tesco
Prices are nearly always the best in the area. Point of access is poorly designed, with multiple points to queue jump and causing significant tailbacks which is dangerous for pedestrians trying to navigate safely back to their cars. You can pay at pump which makes life a lot easier. It's also a good place to see why natural selection needs to make a swift comeback, with all sorts of poor driving displays on tap, and people that simply cannot understand that petrol hoses are designed to reach both sides of your car. Just wonderful.
Very impressed with their control of the queues during the madness we are currently enjoying. Some strong minded ladies dealing brilliantly with the few motorists that feel they are above joining the back of the queue. Good on you and thank you.
Just a blooming Tesco Petrol Station........ all the same
Yesterday we had the unfortunate misfortune to put the wrong fuel into our vehicle at this petrol station. The young girls at the cash desk could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We had no phone with us and one of them lent us her phone to call for assistance. We had a long wait but were offered drinks and repeatedly asked if there was anything they could do for us. It made an awful experience bearable. We can't praise the staff enough.
Pay at pump facility makes fueling so easy, can be very popular at weekends especially Sunday afternoon but the amount of pumps available means your not waiting for too long add the clubcard points you earn for fueling there and it's all good.
Can get crowded at times but it’s mostly empty. However, I’m disappointed to say the least that they closed over half an hour earlier. We were in luck to find the other petrol station next to the mcdonalds close to it open. I’d recommend that one over Tesco’s petrol station Unfortunately I didn’t have time to take a picture to use as evidence.
Good pricing means busy, there was queing, but it was manageable. Pay at pump was quick and easy, overall a good fill up.
