2/1/2023 I know the jet wash is already down for some time. Attempted today, but no luck. I hope it will be fixed soon so I can enjoy washing my car again! UPDATE on 13/1/2023, the jet wash is back in service!
Put in £50 of diesel at the pay at pump, turns out I got charged £52.06 instead I’m not silly, I know it was £50 I put in and wasn’t looking at the litres… and to top it off, the receipt printer wasn’t working either! Avoid! I know £2 is minimum but it’s the principal that I’ve been overcharged for something I know I paid the correct amount for!
Always a reasonable price , clean , pay at pump is handy , friendly staff inside
Be nice to be able to speak to someone instead of having to drive all the way back to the store to sort out their mistake
We enjoy being able to wash our own car with their manual carwash which is pretty much a jet washer with the added sponges etc. We can't wash our car at home but this is handing being just down the road and no machines or botch jobs!
Outrageous that these guys seems to charge more than a motorway BP for fuel. Expected better value from Tesco's. Had multiple chances to stop elsewhere but like getting the clubcard points so feel very mugged off.
Does the job, can get extremely busy and some of the more ‘entitled’ residents living nearby who often drive large 4x4s or Jags/BMWs often feel they can either swing around you or push in front. Easier to go at 7 in the morning or 8 at night. Not rush hour as it can be very slow!
Some of the best fuel prices in the local area. The petrol station almost appears to be an after thought though in how it has been positioned. There is limited space for waiting cars at what is often a busy petrol station. However, the pumps offer the option to pay at pump or to pay cashier. Entry to the station is affected by traffic leaving the superstore and exiting from the two exit points is hampered by blind spots which can make this a bit of a challenge.
It has the machine car wash. You scan the purchased coupon, move the car forward, sit in the car. Done in around 10 minutes. A very quick process.
Lots of petrol and diesel at competitive prices. Choice of car wash options: self service jet wash or drive through auto wash. Small shop on site and air / water / vacuum services.
