Everything you need in one place Every little helps!
Large Tesco store, very well stocked except for clothing. I was looking for some clothes to buy but no FF clothing here but was kindly directed to the nearest Tesco store with one. There's good parking, trolleys a hand car wash and petrol station here.Even got to get fuel by chance on my way out. It was the beginning of the fuel scarcity.
Thieves. Saw gammon advertised at the Clubcard Point reduced from £6.25 to £4.25 per KG. Only on checkout I saw the discount wasn't applied. Cashier told me to queue at customer services as not her problem. Big queue. Only one person serving. Explained issue. Walked to point with another member and the store manager to show them their error. I was given no explanation or apology to why they made the mistake. Went back to customer service who calculated the difference they overcharged me to the penny. Only to realise they still screwed me despite them using a calculator to calculate difference. Gammon was 1.957 kg. Was charged £12.23. Should have been charged £8.31. Was refunded by the calculator WizKid £3.73 when I should have been given back £3.91. Buyer beware... This is NOT the first time this store sneak 'things' into the Clubcard Point to spoof customers who unwittingly end up paying full price. I wonder how many pensioners got robbed? No wonder I shop more at Asda now.
Our first visit, disappointed. Half empty shelves, poor fruit selection. Come on Tesco, you can do much better than this. On the plus side, there is plenty of parking, a Garage and a car wash.
Staff are passive agressive near closing time. More people on the checkout would help shoppers leave quickly.
Bad experience at the Checkout.....my bank card did not work on contact less so cashier said put card in with pin number...nothing worked so I said it's your machine....the cashier then asked me if I had the correct pin number ...yes I said...she then asked me if I had another card...yes I said..but I want to use this one. She called for an assistant who took me to the next desk and it worked straight away...I did not like the attitude of the cashier and was made to feel uncomfortable.
A silly employee needs proper customer service training.
Too be honest this store has been going down hill for a long time. Whenever there are long queues you can guarantee 3 or 4 members of staff chatting away regardless of how many people are waiting. Also again this morning 2 items I purchased came up as the incorrect price shown on the shelf. I raised this too the self service lady who asked me if I wanted to check the price myself or wait !! Naturally I didn't have all day so I checked and even took a video showing the prices. Apparently this wasn't good enough so she had too call for a price check !! What was the point of the customer checking with evidence then ? In the end I was correct yet made to feel like I was lying during the whole process! The sooner the town centre is developed the better.... Brett
OK, but is a bit messy. But you can find almost anything you need her.
Perfect location and friendly staff, just need to open at 6 like other tescos!!!
