I've used this store for over twenty years now and on the whole, it's been excellent. My only concern is the amount of checkouts open at any one time. There only ever seems to be two or three open and queues often stretch along the aisles. The staff working the tills work extremely hard to get the goods through but it can still be a long wait, especially if customer's are bagging up their goods also. May I suggest an express type checkout where no bagging by the till is allowed? I put my items straight back into the trolley and bag up my items outside by my car. I can get a trolley load of goods through and paid for in less than five minutes....With the help of Ola, of course who is like a machine gun when it comes to scanning items! Which brings me to my last point. Ola is an absolute gem. Always smiling, always friendly, always says hello to us and is always open to a bit of friendly banter whilst we're loading our goods. We always head for his checkout as he seems to have a natural gift for brightening up your day, no matter how bad it's been. Staff like him in any industry are hard to come by. I hope he's appreciated. He's one of the reasons why we enjoy shopping in Tesco Acre Lane All the staff work hard but Ola pulls out all the stops when it comes to customer service. I had the best experience in this store on December 22nd. I managed to get my entire Christmas shop. I was lucky enough to meet Pauline who was my check out assistant. She is amazing, so friendly and patient. 5 customer service at such a busy time for the whole store.
Very nice staff.. and got lots off with my points and offers.. and flowers are great ..
Tesco Brixton is located next to town hall and this particular superstore is small compared to others. The store serves fresh flowers and fresh bakers in the store. The store is Less busy at weekdays and afternoons. This is my Frist visit to the shop , they have ample parking near the shop and you are allowed to park 1.5hrs for free. I was directed to do checkout however the staffs were busy in talking about home mortgage rather serving customer, which was very disappointing. Other than that it was smooth purchase.
I like Tesco products and variety but I Ve experienced often problems with prices at the till. Maybe they just don't pay enough attention to these kind of things but if you don't do it as well you may need to pay more. As a personal advice ,pay extra care to the prices when you scan your items.
Queues are the only thing that might bother you here. Well stocked store and loads of discounts for clubcard purchases. I recommend Tesco's superstores for your big shop and collect points that pay. Not just to add items to your shopping. That's why I choose Tesco over Sainsbury's.
Hello I wish to make a request for improvements to your bicycle park at your superstore in Acre Lane Brixton I cycle to this store 2 or 3 times every week and I am really stressed out about your lack of investment in the bicycle park. It is too small for bicycles with pannier bags of heavy shopping. It’s located in the wrong place - at the entrance where all the pedestrians are entering the store , this makes it very difficult arriving and leaving the store It’s also not secure enough to leave a bike which in my case is worth thousands of pounds ££££ We are all encouraged to be more green and use less car transfers and so you should be encouraging cyclists and making the experience less stressful May I suggest a new area for bicycles Covered Nearer the main entrance where security personnel can keep an eye out for bike thieves This space would take up no more than 3 car spaces in front of your store
Today in Tesco's was really bad. The time is 19.45 and the bread is due To go off tomorrow. I asked for bread that was not going off in the next day or even the next 2 days. The nasty man's name is Gheze, I dared to interrupt him texting on his mobile how dare I. He was very abrupt, rude and I thought, what is the point of shopping here? So tired of staff who just do not care. I told him I didn't like the way he spoke to me and it just made things worse. So now HE is offended that I told him that. Today Tesco's, you only received 1 star because I can't write a review with no stars. Really bad service today and the service is the thing that made me use your shop in the first place, NO SERVICE MEANS NO CUSTOMERS. I WANT GOOD SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE!! THEN YOU CAN HAVE MY MONEY.
Not the worst Tesco`s I`ve been to.Not the best either. Staff was tired or bored or on the verge of screaming in your face. Shelves weren`t stocked, I had to go to other stores for the things I needed. At least it was clean.
Tesco superstore was great! Tesco superstore have everything except for meat because meat is only found in TFC .
