This Tesco is one of the largest places I've visited. I think. They have almost everything. The store is on two levels and well organised. I am always biased to Asda, but I was impressed with this one. Being in a store for the first time is always an overwhelming experience, especially when you're in a rush. You feel disoriented not knowing where anything is, but the staff was very helpful to pointus in the right direction,
Pharmacist interrogated me and wanted access to my NHS health record when I had organised an emergency prescription via 111. Is this standard practice? Also was told, along with others, to wait half an hour for a pharmacist consultation. When I came back, the consultation involved shouting questions from the back, and no privacy available to me when I answered. Very poor customer service and no privacy.
So I came to Tesco to buy a red bull, I am 17 years old. I was paying and got asked for my id so I gave them my provisional driving licence the lad that was checking it and asked for a second opinion and that is fair enough. I thought it was a piss take that it took 5 workers to look at my real id telling me it’s not real and threatening to take it when I will need it for my driving lessons. It took 10 minutes for them to give me it back and give me the red bull. Complete waste of time and an absolute joke.
Always got what you need, great store, helpful staff, though does get busy at certain times
Big store, lots of products - and a lovely escalator! If you are looking for a great selection of food, veg, drinks and household products this is the place to come. Spacious and bright with friendly staff always willing to assist. Prices aren't too bad either! On-site parking is handy and easily accessible.
