This Sunderland City Gateway superstore has completely refurbished and redesigned its Cafe. Take a look at the photos I've put below for a better idea. A picture paints a 1000 words and all that. And what a brilliant job they've done of it... This is a massive store on the northern gateway to Sunderland City Centre... The staff are second to none. They do their work properly they have pride They work hard and they really do strive to help the customers. If you ask for help you get it now matter what the staff members are presently doing. You can't fault them. This Tesco is enormous as it is also used to fulfill customers online shopping orders load the vans up & set them away to deliver the ordered goods.
Great store with a huge range.nAisles seem a nightmare to navigate lately. But the addition of the long aisles near the tills are ideal! Especially for seasonal products.nLoss of the deli still hurts and I don't think yo sushi is a good replacement.
My son has just brought in a bunch of which oriental lillies for me as a Christmas pressy, he paid £10 and they are completely dead, look like they are 2 weeks old.nObviously he knows nothing about flowers but I can't actually believe they took payment fir them at the till, they should have been put in the bin I'm absolutely fuming they literally robed the lad
A level 1 store rather than a ground level one is less favourable but otherwise the store was fine and spacious. Not busy at 8 pm on a saturday here. Same prices as everywhere else in the country.
Massive store great for parking shopping great you will need your walking shoes on scan and go slow to imput the data and when you have finished your shopping you have to wait in the same line as self service so waiting for people to scan their shopping not many tills for the size of the shop
