Bought 12 Corona beer, not on offer, as no 18 boxes on the alcohol aisle. On way out of store noticed the boxes of 18, which were on offer, by the entrance into store. When I paid at checkout was given a voucher for a free box of Fairy non bio tabs. I went back in to store, exchanged my beer but not able to get the tabs as there was just an empty shelf where they should have been. Arrived home and unpacked shopping and discovered that the 2 Lindhahl pro banoffee pie yogurts I’d bought were date stamped to be used by the 16/6 and it’s now 21/6. Not impressed Tesco

Handforth branch -why is the in store bakery production so unreliable? Three times I visited recently to find own baked bread not available. "Problem with oven" was only explanation. Bread is my main reason to shop at a supermarket. There are Tesco competitors with reliable bakery products... Fortunately for T not every customer appears so bread quality conscious.

I had a click and collect order and being the first time I had used the option asked at customer services. Really great staff not only arranged to see if the order was ready earlier that the time slot but had it bought to me by another really helpful member of staff. As an OAP this really made my day to know that the staff could go out of their way to be so helpful and pleasant.

We’ve used this large Tesco for a number of years but feel compelled to leave a review regarding the last few visits. The store has hired hoards of young teenagers who hang around the store in gangs. There is no willingness to help customers especially at the self service checkouts and when you ask for help they fight amongst themselves and argue about who should go to the customer. During my last visit, I was forced to scan a large trolly full of items through self service because only a handful of the main counters were staffed - I called someone over twice to get rid of the frustrating ‘call for assistance’ messages and each item I was met with 4/5 guys pushing each other towards me whilst the others scrolled on their phones. This was happening at the front of the store and these guys were clearly unsupervised. We won’t be shopping there again.

I placed a click and collect order with Tesco Handforth Dean on 15/05/24. I ordered a packet of wraps and when I opened the pack on the same day, every single wrap had green mould growing on them. See attached image. I am writing this review on 16/05/24 and I have also raised a complaint on the Tesco hotline, but I was given no explanation nor any offer of replacement or cashback.

I am horrified with the encounter that I had today while shopping. I asked a girl with red hair, a simple question about shampoo and the luck she gave me was disgusting. Made me feel stupid so than later I was served by her at checkout and she was nothing but rude and obnoxious. I will not be returning and I hope you do something about your staff I think her name was Sheila or Shayla

Had a lovely experience with Imad. He showed excellent customer service and should definitely be a manager. When he told me he wasn't one I was gobsmacked.

Been shopping here for years but I give up on it now, it’s gone downhill. They always scan things twice or the machines don’t give the discounts, today I bought rum that was showing on offer on the shelf and the staff member was loading the shelves so passed it to me making me wait while they put a tag on and at the checkout I asked if they could remove it as I was hoping to save time while I was making payment and they refused saying that I had to pay first so I did and then had to go through the process of finding a staff member and waiting, after all of that I get home and realise the receipt shows I’ve been charged nearly double the price for the bottle. I have the clubcard plus but I cancelled it I won’t shop at Tesco at all anymore, the old staff they had were good but the new ones are nasty

This is a large Tesco with many different sections like home-ware, clothing, electronics, games, etc all upstairs whilst having all of the food items downstairs.  It used to be open 24/7 apart from Sundays which can be useful sometimes but has now changed hours.  You can get a decent shop from the wide range of products that Tesco sells here.

lots of shopping options... Bought some chino pants and it was a perfect size quality is also good..
