I've visited nearly all of tescos stores around the UK and I have to say this site in Borehamwood is in the top 10. 

My experience started with a wonderful drive up the car park which stretches for around 100 meters from the entrance. It is easy to navigate from the well kept directional paint maintained by the dedicated staff. 

The entrance is a large boxed area which offers a range of baskets which is handy for the lunchtime snack grabber or the 'in and outers' as we call them in the supermarket game.

The air conditioning as you come in is well maintained and you can guarantee to be cooled in the summer or warmed in the winter. This is comparing it to one of the worst visits to a shopping retailer I have been to where I was nearly killed by the air conditioning unit becoming detached and landing quite closely to where I was walking. However I digress. 

My visit to this site lasted 3 hours as I actually was so mezmorised by the countless Isles both upstairs and downstairs and the quantity of products they had to offer. Some would say I was like a kid in a candy shop. 

After quizzing several employees at this site it became quite clear to me their level of knowledge on Tesco was rather impressive. As long as you have a strong stomach for black teeth and bad breath I would highly recommend enquiring about product location and knowledge. These employees go above and beyond and actually did my shopping for me whilst I engaged with the manager on his suitability to run the site.

Security is somewhat lax and I did notice the chap texting someone when he should have been monitoring the monitor. Borehamwood has a high crime rate and so I thought it rather irresponsible to be complacent where vigilance is obviously extremely important. 

Let downs where the security tags on the flowers and meats. What world do we live in where people will steal something which grows in fields? Security cameras in the meat isle are a bit intimidating however I understand their concern and need to protect these high value items in such a crime riddled area.

Closed 8 minutes before it should've. Absolutely ridiculous. I have a health condition and needed food as I almost passed out. They let two people in literally as I got there. Not impressed. If it closed before midnight it should've stated it online.

You ca  always find out of date food on shelves. Some members of staff are rude. Some are really helpful! Fresh fruit and veg is t all that fresh.!!!
