As a small local Tesco it stocks all of the necessary basics at excellent fair prices. The staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient. The baskets on wheels are ideal if you have your own shopping trolley. Some things for me are too high to reach as I am 5' 2" with a slight mobility problem but staff or customers help. Otherwise, excellent.

I used to shop here a lot as I worked there, and had my discount card now I prefer to shop at the new Fratton Park. It's still very friendly shop and always seem to be working very hard . Miss a lot of the items they used to sell and that's why I prefer Fratton branch

Was great as a 'Metro', friendly staff and decent choice of fresh food for a small supermarket. Now its an 'Express', so longer hours but mainly junk food, alcohol and automatic tills. Hardly used it since it re-opened. Given it was very busy it now seems mostly empty of customers...

This would have been 4 stars before their refurb. Its managed to get more cramped and claustrophobic while the choice and amount of stock has also been reduced! That is, unless you want crisps! - They've got tons of crisps and junk food! Its everything I dislike about the Sainsburys Local over the road with added disinterested staff. The staff just wander about with cages of groceries blocking up the tiny aisles and yet the shelve always have huge gaps. I find myself going to ASDA in Fratton more often now.

Very good has everything we need and is close by staff very nice people who act suspicious are going to be watched even if they aren't going to do anything wrong
