I call in here regularly to grab a lunch time meal deal and this store is always busy. Although there are invariably long queues for both the self serve and managed checkouts, the queues tend to move pretty quickly, so don't bother me.
The most unfriendly, dirty and under staff store that I been in my life.nMost of the staff are miserable , unhelpful and 0 customernservice. The rules of Tesco concerning the cues at the tills don't apply at this store here you can have 10 people wanting to pay with 1 open till. If you ask to a new till they simply ignore.nIt's the only supermarket in town centre, and the products are overpriced.nIf you can just avoid.
Shop layout is dumb, no care for people with disabilities, staff are as much use as a chocolate teapot. Music is so loud you can't hear anyone speak and again no care for people who are neurodivergent. No staff ever on tills, shelves are almost always empty. Prices of thing are close to 10% more expensive then the bigger tescos.nShop is freezing cold as they canr be asked to put doors on their fridges
Avoid this Tesco unless you have no other option. This store knows the fact it is the only major super market in the whole town center to old town area, and likes to take advantage of it's monopoly.nnMost of the stock they keep is super overpriced. Moreover, they mostly sell old stock that is usually due to expire in a few days.nnThe conditions of the store are unhygienic, filthy and, frankly disgusting.nnOn top of that they have a set of staff who are very hostile, unprofessional, and terrible at doing their jobThere are a few members of the staff who do their job but most of them are really bad. For no apparent reason, I had once been verbally abused by a member of the staff, who I think is named Christina. The staff also misplace any parcel that you get delivered there.nTesco for some reason encourages this uncouth set of staff, and have been seeing the same people ever since I became a customer of this place. It seems that staff do not have to face repercussions for their actions.nnThey also employ a joke of a security guard who profiles people, and makes paying customers feel uncomfortable.nnI have been a customer of this Tesco for around 2 years, and it is getting worse day after day. I am still a customer because I have no other option.nnThe council should launch an investigation into this Tesco.
This store is really dirty and unhygienic. Not only can you see filth and dirt everywhere, but today I saw a staff member climbing onto the refrigerated shelves to reach the top - with their boots touching all the food on the bottom shelf.nnNot only is the store gross, but every single staff member I have come across is rude and unhelpful. They will serve you without even saying hello or acknowledging your existence.nnThe food itself had severely dropped in quality at all Tesco stores in the last few years, and this store is no exception.
