Great place to shop. Bought fruit, pastries, chocolate, water for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Just didn’t have card for discounts
Tesco was out of sandwiches that I wanted maybe because of the weekend and everyone is visiting like Oxford me. I got a cheese and onion sandwich at the end.
The meat meal Dave I ate this evening made me ill. nnAlso, The self service till had a spillage that in pointed out and no one had time to come and clean it.
We were rudely treated by a female staff, Kanwal, at the service counter in the store this afternoon at 3 pm. My friend was trying to return a parcel through the EVRI ParcelShop service. This female staff Kanwal, was aloof and rude. At first, she did not say anything and only showed a disdainful expression. After we gave her our parcel, she carelessly packaged it with tape and rudely THREW IT INTO THE PARCEL BOX. She also did not fill in the return receipt and showed zero respect to us. Only after we kindly asked for her to at least speak to us and respond our question why throwing the parcel that she blocked her name badge with her hand, but still she DID NOT even said a simple “sorry” or explained any reason, let alone a sincere apology. This is an unbelievably awful experience and stop us from shopping in this Tesco Express.
On plus side range at Tesco good and with club card some decent discounts. True for any Tesco. Downside no wifi so if trying to use Tesco pay app do before going it. I find it logs me out often so trying to get in whilst in store or q recipe for stress.nThere is always a q in this store, does not seem well managed with people blocking aisle etc. there is a lift for wheelchair users but hard to find, a lot of stuff downstairs. No trolley in store.
