My friend 17 wanted to buy an energy drink but as the employee came over to ask for ID which she has she then turned to me and our other friend to ask for our IDs which we do not have because we were not buying anything. She then refused to allow the sale and my friend had to change it for a sprite. I would have understood if she did not have any ID but both me and our other friend had our college IDs on, proving our age. Tesco does not have the ability to refuse sale to someone because another person does not have ID, and none of us had discussed exchanging the ONE drink she was buying.

The lady on the tills refused sale because I was buying a meal deal for myself with a energy drink Celsius to be extact. While waiting to pay the lady wouldn't approve it because my 2 friends hadn't had ID with them despite them not buying anything and standing away from me in the corner, when I was the only one buying a meal with the drink and I had shown physical proof of my ID. She was rude and wouldn't hear or understand us. Was unable to get her name, but I'm sure this isn't the first bad review she's had. Tesco you need to sort your staff out.

I do my shopping here few times a week and not every person from the service is nice. Two girls who talk a lot while working in their own language the one with blond hair always walks around as if she was there as a punishment. nToday morning when i done shopping self-service I asked for help from the guy who was standing there. With Black hair .There was no one around and he told me to go to the next machine. He didn't even check. I stopped shopping and moved to the next one. I guess even standing was too tiring so he didn't show any interest.nI shop here only because it's close for me if it was about the service I would never come back here.

Great place to shop. Bought fruit, pastries, chocolate, water for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Just didn’t have card for discounts

Thank you very much for the amazing customer service! My friend w/26 and I m/20 wanted to get 4 measly cans of beer. We sober as day were asked to show our ID’s. So far completely fine. However, my friend sadly forgot her ID at home. So even though I was the one buying the beer and presenting my ID, we still were not allowed to buy it. The funny part however is, that we both had our official college Student ID cards stating our full name and the date of birth and my friend also had a photocopy of her passport, yet we couldn’t get the beer. So thank you to that incredible dense worker at Tesco. You can take your rules and your tiny fragile ego and stick them where the sun doesn’t shine.nGo Sainsbury!
