The Male staff members at this Tesco Express need an extreme course in customer relations particularly the younger male staff members manning the tills, the usual cheery "Can I Help" is absent and replaced with a scowl in the direction of the next customer in line, their attitude to women is appalling they barely acknowledge their presence or requests. The prevalent attitudes are surly, lazy and rude. To all European Caucasians. A request to remove the stack of approximately 12 baskets at the checkout to allow space for signing of a petroleum account slip was refused with the comment to use the display of the chip & pin terminal as a platform. Hardly an area large enough to support giving a legible signature.

Not surprisingly they are young men of Near or Middle East background whether it be familial or actual.
They are obviously less than happy in customer facing roles.
