I used the toilet in here and oh my. God knows when it was last cleaned. The basin was black and dusty filth everywhere. It should be condemned. I am a lorry driver, so I have seen some sites but this really shocked me, and to top it off just outside were a load of rentokill labels, so guess they are tackling some sort of infestation aswell.nI would say get it cleaned but feel it needs more than that.
Outstanding customer service with great help from Branch Manager Chris Rose and colleague John. I was stranded at Tesco Express on A283 at Storrington with a burst tyre and no phone. Chris went to a great deal of trouble arranging for a mobile tyre replacement operative to visit the garage. Although this took over 3 hours, I was sustained with coffee and a chair in the shade. All the staff I met were helpful, polite and courteous. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Worthy of a Tesco Award for outstanding customer service. I will make a point of re-visiting this garage when I am next in Storrington.nChris Basley.
This is possibly the worst petrol station I know. Often chaotic , rarely enough staff. There are frequently people who park at pumps and then go shopping for ages.nToday is a good example - in addition to the long absent shoppers leaving cars at the pumps there was one car broken down at the pumps and nothing to warn customers queuing behind, and two pumps which turned out to be ‘pay at pump’ only had nothing other than half a torn bit of paper to explain on one - no pre warning when queuing. I now do my best to avoid filling up there.
They've made really good use of the space. Even though it is often quite busy and parking for people not buying petrol is tight, I would definitely recommend for late night purchases.
Great little Tesco's at storrington. Stocks a lot of items obviously at a slightly higher price as it is a convience store. Price of fuel is reasonable at the moment seems to be going down a couple of pence every couple of days or so. I like it as it's half way from home to work for me.
