Came here to get a click and collect order. Just getting dark when all the external lights came on illuminating the car park. Speedy transfer of order from van to our car. At least it wasn't raining, just a little cold but I can't blame Tesco for that.
Easy parking and access for all. Usual good selection of products for this sized store with very friendly and helpful staff.
Great place to shop, plus other shops in the centre, choice of parking at Tesco or in st Stephens also ample parking in privately owned parking 5 hours for 2 pound, good value. Walking into hull is about 5 minutes from here.
I am disabled and live quite close to this store and so I have to drive round and park, it is only a few minutes. I am in usually every other day and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I do my big shop there also and although it may be more expensive than Aldi I prefer brand names. The store is so clean and when I have had to use the toilet its always been clean. I am so pleased Tesco is just round the corner for on my bad days I can still get there, if needed. Thank you.
My Staffie Patrick has just been released from hospital. I urgently needed to shop, so stopped at this Tesco. I could not leave Patrick in the car as it was exceptionally hot. I went to the front of the store, and the only shaded area was at the entrance where there was a dog bowl with water. I tied Patrick up and commenced my shop, keeping an eye on him. I then noticed a number of staff surrounding him. I asked what the problem was, and they replied it was against the law for dogs to be in the store. HE WAS ON THE MAT AT THE ENTRANCE, NOT ROAMING THE AISLES! I'm sorry to shout, but your slogan 'Every little helps" clearly has limits. Consequently, I managed a third of my shop, as it was clear rules is rules, and common sense would not prevail in this instance. In conclusion, clearly it would have been fine to leave him roasting in the car, because then health and safety would not have been breached. Shame on you Tesco, and shame on your staff.
Had to write this after going into store today, with both my children 18 months and 5 months, after trying to pull a pram and push a trolley a lovely lady came and asked if she could help by pushing my pram. I of course said yes and she was so good with my son whilst we walked round the store, then a call comes over the tanoy can the owner of a silver car registration blah blah blah come to the desk so I go to the desk as it was my car and i had only left my boot open, a lovely gentlemen then went out to close it for me. Can I just say thankyou so much to all of you without the help no doubt I would have had an anxiety attack
Since the store has been downgraded to 'metro' they have stopped stocking things I used to buy, and got rid of staff who wouldn't accept the new contract, so I now shop at Aldi - it's cheaper and the staff are just as helpful and friendly this is by no means a slur on any staff working for Tesco. You have my sympathy. Aldi yoghurts are wonderful!
I shopped there on Saturday morning and the staff were absolutely brilliant! They were on hand to make sure people followed all the social distancing rules. I also managed to get most of what I wanted.
I stupidly locked my keys in the boot of my car with my 8 and 4 year old boys with me. The staff were incredible providing us with drinks, games for the kids and even gave me a lift back to the caravan park where we were staying. I can't thank these lovely people enough for their kind assistance which was far, far beyond the call of duty. An absoloute credit to their company.
