Decent branch of Tesco, looks fairly new. The place is certainly a pleasant to shop. Bright and modern. Plenty of staff on hand to help, wide selection of goods. Good prices. Charging points for electric cars in the car park. Petrol station on site.
Just not happy they are relying more and more on you, that you pay for the shopping yourself. Meaning, by us the customer, using the self service tills, which incidentally are popping up as quick as mushrooms, rather than employing cashiers. I don't work for Tesco, I'm a customer.
Consistently appalling experience. Can’t recall the last time I visited and was able to purchase all on the list, can no longer rely on this store for a weekly shop - doesn’t seem to matter what time the visit is - always empty shelves produce that there have been national shortages in is understandable. Range of stock is shrinking so choice is becoming limited - shame considering planning was granted to support the expanding community. Car park isn’t large enough to cater for the volume of shoppers at peak times. Hopeful that the increase in housing will result in another supermarket coming to the town.
I recently had a fantastic experience at Tesco Petrol Station while trying to choose a disposable vape product in mango flavor. I wanted to share this experience with others and highlight the excellent customer service provided by Ron, one of the staff members. When I walked into the Tesco Petrol Station, I was immediately greeted by Ron. I explained that I was looking for a disposable vape product in mango flavor, but I wasn't sure which one to choose. Ron was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and took the time to explain the differences between each one. He listened to my preferences and recommended a product that was perfect for me. The disposable vape product that Ron recommended was exactly what I was looking for. It was mango flavored and easy to use. Ron made sure that I understood how to use the product, including how to activate it and how long it would last. What stood out to me was Ron's willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He took the time to demonstrate how to use the product, including how to inhale and exhale the vapor. He also gave me some useful tips on how to make the product last longer and get the most out of it. Ron's excellent customer service did not stop there. He also helped me sign up for the Tesco Clubcard, which gave me discounts on future purchases. He made the entire process so easy and enjoyable, and I left the store feeling grateful for his help. Overall, my experience at Tesco Petrol Station was very positive, and I can't thank Ron enough for his exceptional customer service. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to help made all the difference. I highly recommend anyone who needs assistance with disposable vape products or other items to visit Tesco Petrol Station and ask for Ron. In conclusion, Tesco Petrol Station is a great place to shop for all your needs, and the staff members like Ron are what make the shopping experience even better. I will definitely be returning to Tesco Petrol Station in the future and recommending it to my friends and family.
This Tesco store in Dunmow is far better than it was now it's large extention is complete. It now has a large area devoted to Tesco,s Florence and Fred range of clothing. The home and kitchen ware area is larger and is stocked with a wide variety of home and kitchen ware goods. The fruit and vegetable isles are much better laid out and are stocked with a much broader range of products. The rest of the store is also now very well laid out and now stocks all of the goods you would expect to see at a larger Tesco,s Win, Win I would say especially for the residents of Dunmow.
Yet again Tesco cannot cope with supply and demand. So many shelves empty on Monday. They may have a new bigger store but they cannot cope with the demand and increase in the number of people moving to Great Dunmow. We need another supermarket in Dunmow and not just Tesco having the monopoly.
Never given a 1 star review before, but this place was dire. Lady on customer service did not know the meaning of the word customer let alone service, rudest individual I never ever met in a retail environment, and I worked in one for 35 years. Absolutely appalling
Beautifully refurbished store but on a recent visit I needed to ask if they stocked poppy seeds, I asked a female member of staff who was stocking a shelf "excuse me do you stock poppy seeds?" she replied "I dunno" Not the best customer service!!!!! BTW yes they do stock poppy seeds.
Tesco in my opinion is over priced and they have been ripping off the public for years, they have 2 prices on a lot of there items, club card price and a higher price if you don't have a club card. Why not just make it the correct price and those that have club cards can benefit from the cheap holidays and other things they do. I personally shop at Aldi because the prices are a lot better...
Too small for the crowds Vegetables are not very fresh Decent supply of meats, but chicken and pork often goes off Poor selection Few value lines makes shopping expensive Items constantly out of stock Hardly ever get everything I need Despite being ridiculously busy, fresh counter shut half the week Customer service is up and down The majority of the women in the customer service kiosk are horrid
