Not happy with the lack of assistance at the self service checkouts today at 1pm. Three women two in uniform one if green/white jumper chatting at one end. A woman on her own at the other end. None of the staff doing anything. My checkout flagged up it needed a staff login. Waited but no one came. I went to the group of three and asked if they had anything to do with the machines, one woman said no, the others said nothing. So I went to the woman on her and asked her the same and she also said nothing to do with her. So four staff members at the self service and none will admit to having anything to do with the machines there. Eventually the woman in the green/white jumper did come over and sort it out, but why when asked about who could help me did she and the others offer no help? God knows who she was, but none of the three uniformed Tesco staff wanted anything to do with the necessary login even though they were all milling around and chatting to each other. Staff need some training on customer service. If a self check out says it needs a staff login why must I go round asking all staff in the area for help and they deny they have anything to do with the very machines they are stood right next to? Surely they should come to me? Why when I've asked four staff members if they have anything to do with the machines do they deny it before one reluctantly comes to help sort it out?
It was my birthday yesterday when we visited you on the way to me mums. In the cafe i had fish and chips it was the best fish i ever tasted it put me in a good mood. I told the bloke who gave us the food to tell the cook it was the best fish i ever tasted he said thank you i will. I then saw him tell someone in the kitchen who i could not see cause of the wall what i had said. Its nice to know that messages do get passed on. Well done.
Big Tesco, lot of variety!
Today we had the unfortunate expereince of having a puncture as we were about to collect our shopping from Click and Collect. To make matters worse, I had left my mobile phone at home. However, the wonderful staff at Click and Collect came to our rescue. Caroline phoned the RAC for us; Rosie offered her spare tyre to get us home but, unfortunately, it didn't fit the car. Christian immediately said the shopping could be kept until we were ready to leave. Throughout the 4 hour wait for breakdown assistance these wonderful people kept checking on us; Christian supplied us with some much needed water and, finally, when the breakdown arrived, brought the shopping directly to where we were parked. This took customer service to a totally new level and Tesco should be proud of such exemplary employees. If ever the occasion should arise again, I can think of no better place to be in a crisis.

I have shopped with Tesco's for years, Some comments are unjust. If you step back and think of the comments, Snappy. Bet you can be. Own up to it, Hours of trade, Speak to those who make the rules, Staffing issues. Try to understand that you have life issues. Why don't people understand and justify their words. Try thinking here. This store, All stores have issues. But these staff don't need to be shredded, Deal with issues politely in the store. Try words like Etiquette. Read, Honesty. They raise massive sums for charities. One day you might depend on one. So, you should think. Deal with issues correctly. Not mouth of and justify it takes 2 to tango.
I have been here lots of times which says something as if a place is rubbish I refuse to go twice. This is a nice big shop with all the usual Tesco stuff in in. They seem to have a good offer now and again on various things food wise, but nothing worth celebrating. The staff I have spoken to are all friendly which is nice considering some of the people they must deal with always look for a big problem over a dumb query. I have seen such things. As expected it is well laid out and being a big shop it has a lot of choices. The car-park is big so that's an advantage and they have a petrol station there which is also very useful.
I was served by the most friendliest and professional person I've met! She was absolutely amazing and catered to every need we needed. She was quick, efficient and priceless. It someone like her that every business needs. Her name was Holly. She even stayed past her shift as she was so happy to help us. This is a service I'd expect in a highend shop not a Tesco!
