A lovely high street with lots of cafes, restaurants and individual shops. St Mildred's church was interesting to look round with lovely stained glass windows.
Tenterden is a lovely village in Kent. A lovely centre with pubs bars,restaurants and lots of independent shops.nIt is also the home of The Kent & East Sussex preserved railway which runs all the way down to the station at Bodiam.Castle.nThere is limited time street parking and additional paid parking.nThere is quite a lot to explore in the surrounding area so it's a good place to stay. There are country hotels situated on the main road and I'm sure other options too.nIt is not a cheap place to visit but it is lovely and has quite a charm.
Such a beautiful village with some tasty restaurants and pittorsque shops.
Busy on the weekends but with a calm air to the place. Many small individual places to eat and rest. Lots of charity shops to look in and find that nostalgic gift for yourself or others. Small car parks that can be over filled all too easily. Main road parking allows 1 hour limited pa return for free. Overall, a nice place with character with a nice atmosphere.
Great little village town. Very friendly with a lovely feel and some lovely places to eat.
