We had a great time a Ten Pin Crewe when we visited during the February Half Term Holiday. We had Lane 25 which was right at the end - our granddaughters had a fantastic time bowling & enjoyed a game of Air Hockey afterwards. It was very busy & very noisy, but this was to be expected.
Went twice and the kids loved it. The setup is really good, but you have to get the kids passed the dreaded arcade first.nThe bowling booths are really interactive and you can take your mugshot to add to your experience. Every lane has an enclosed seating area with it's own entertainment screens so other parties can't see how bad you are doing.nTuesdays is half price bowling and cheep drinks so well worth a visit then. We'll definitely be going back,
Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. and had a fantastic family-friendly day out.nWe paid for 2 games for the 4 of us, which worked out around £42 which we thought was good value.nThere is a touch screen where you enter player details and a nice touch of being able to do a group selfie to have as the background to the scoreboard. You also have the option of having bumpers down the gutters per player. These automatically rise and fall depending on the option being selected for each player.nThere is a large selection of bowling balls with different hole sizes for different hand types. We had no issues with finding a ball each to play with.nThere is a fully stocked bar with a good range of drinks at reasonable prices.nThe staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.nThere is a large soft play area, although our girls are too old for it, so they can't comment on how good it is. It looks big, though, and the kids that were in there seemed to be having lots of fun.nThere are escape rooms and a laser quest, too, although we didn't use either, so I can't comment.nThere is an arcade with a wide selection of games to play. Our girls really enjoyed playing here, although it's all quite pricey for the time you get on each game.nOverall, it was a great afternoon out. I would definitely recommend it, and we will definitely be heading back.
Nice day out and the staff are lovely. However, the staff don't regulate who enters the toddler section of the soft play, meaning much older children then prevent the toddlers playing with things. Could do with more seating areas and the toddler soft play expanding to include the ball pit or something.
The return of a bowling alley to Crewe was a must and tenpin have certainly not disappointed. Value for money is great and it's perfect for a fun day out or a good celebration with friends or family. The food is also quite nice and whilst a bit loud they do keep things organised and smooth. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly.
