Friendly and relaxed, we had a good couple of games of bowling, air hockey and pool. Also ordered food direct to the Isle and generally had a fun couple of hours. Great place to visit.
We really enjoyed our games and staff were very helpful too. I had issues with the lane allocation and to order food to the lanes, as the system was new. It was rather annoying, so dear management, please sort it out. The guys on the floor were brilliant trying to fix all the issue, so a big well done for them!
We booked a children's party here for my son's 8th birthday. The children had a great time and it was good but it did feel very disorganized and I would have preferred more input from the staff. We had a lot of standing around not knowing what was going on, lanes didn't open for a while, we had no help with getting the kids set up despite having booked 4 lanes and the whole thing felt chaotic. Maybe consider a dedicated party Person to assist the parents? The balloon girls were amazing though and overall the kids had a great time which was the main thing, just could have been set up to provide less stress for the parents involved.
All the staffs at Tenpin are really hard working and looking after us throughout our games. Drinks and food are good value and no need for long wait. Special thanks to Aminia as she is really helpful and make all of us feel very welcome. Well done everyone. Will come back again.
Although open until 1am, food wasn't available after 9pm. Change is required to play pool. To get change, you have to withdraw banknotes from an ATM, charged at £1.85. You then have to use one of two change machines, neither of which were working. The ten pin bowling was satisfactory.
Had a Lazer tag birthday party, the kids enjoyed the Lazer part of the party, the host was helpful, but then it went a bit down hill after that, the food rocked up only have a pizza choice, paid extra for ice cream it's a little tub the kids was suppose to get a 100g chocolate bar each and as they had ran out, a token animal bar was put in, asked several times for the ice cream before it rocked up, it was a Saturday night and I get they was busy, but the host finished his shift before the party finished so no one to really ask. The kids did enjoy themselves so that is what matters, but when you are paying £13 a head you kind of expect a wee bit more.
The staff were very helpful and the bowling is good value. However, I don't like the fact that the pins are now on strings. There were several instances where the pins were leaving over but weren't counted as down, which is particularly annoying when you've got a strike and it only awards you 9.
Good value at £5per person. Helpful staff but strangely pins are connected to cable from above and occasionally don't fall over when they should!
The staff work their backsides off, no doubt about that but the lanes are absolutely knackered. Our first lane had a ghost playing with us who was terrible it seemed. Random goes taken without us bowling a single ball. When we asked to change lanes, it was done without hesitation but the next one had two balls stuck in the gutter because the barriers that they use for children were bent out of shape. Just a terrible bowling experience overall! Oh and the food....I won't even bother describing the hot dog...I've had better floor scrapings.
My Son had a great time on his 9th bday celebrations! The cost for 10 heads and what is included was well worth it! Staff was helpful great all round. Cheers Tenpin!!
