Having had a pretty seamless process in the beginning. I thought the customer service up to this point was great videos of the car were sent to me via WhatsApp. I asked for the imperfections which were sent minor scratches to the bodywork and bumper trims. I picked up the car sat and signed a few documents checked the car over in a poorly lit warehouse and headed home. On arriving home I noticed two chips in the windscreen, 3 out of the 4 alloys were scuffed and one of the car key batteries is dead. Having sourced out very reasonable prices for all the damage and repairs £140 I messaged to be reimbursed this amount. However, the company will not do this and have said it’s my fault even though they deliberately kept the damage from me. They also said that every car has minor scratches and wear and tear, but this takes the biscuit. One of the alloys may need to be replaced it’s so badly scuffed. The windscreen is also a safety issue. Even worse they’ve now told me I signed a document that said the bodywork was satisfactory. I wasn’t made aware of signing this as I would’ve wanted to inspect it before doing so. So this has either been forged or done deceitfully. I have spoken to my finance company who fortunately can try and recoup some of the money. Probably more than the £140 so this company have really shot themselves in the foot.
I strongly recommend Tenby car supermaket and specially I am giving 5 stars to Hamza who show maxim professionalism in everything. Same day approved driving the car next day. Thank you very much
I bought a car in November from tenby car, everything was good and beautiful until in January I suddenly had several errors on the car's dashboard, I tried to call after sales every day but no answer, I continued and one day a man named Andrei who is at after sales answered me and said to bring the car in for service, a few days later my car was 'repaired'. Just 2 weeks later I had the same problems again, since then I have further to after sales and Andrei never answers, I send him many emails regarding the issues and still nothing , at the moment I m still waiting an answer from Tenby but is the same , in my opinion he is not doing his job properly and he is not answering to my calls, actually a VERY BAD SERVICE FROM HIM
Great service initially, very helpful with sharing info and pictures before viewing the car. No pressure when looking at the car on site. Car was moved from MK site to Luton as had been dealing with Hamza on the phone. Didn't seem overly knowledgeable about the car. After buying the car on Saturday with no issues, it quickly began struggling to start during the following week and didn't start the following Saturday. A faulty battery was diagnosed. Tried contacting the after sales team as requested but no answer.
Bought a car from Hamza, he was great. Quickly got back to me with any updates and sorted out the delivery of my car. Couldn't ask for any more. Highly recommend
I bought a car from Tenby Cars in September the sales team was very professional Hamza was very good at helping me with finance and everything, but since I bought a cad they gave me 6 months warranty and my car had a ABS issue so I went back to after sales team and they’re useless and very unprofessional they stopped answering my phone calls and stopped answering my emails, now I don’t know what to do and how to fix the problems. Before buying the car check properly on the car as after sale team will waste your time and money
I recently had a fantastic experience at Tenby Car Supermarket. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, guiding me through various options until I found the perfect car. The extensive inventory and transparent pricing made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Tenby Car Supermarket for their excellent service and diverse selection of quality vehicles.
Absolutely disgraceful. We brought a car and test drove it looked over the paper work and drove away thinking everything was fine . Within 24hours the car was making a knocking noise. When we tried to contact the company they said the after sales department was unavailable try back in a day or two. This went on for over 10days with the company sales team or finance team telling us there was nothing they could do and that I would need to just keep trying. We live an hour away so just popping in wasn’t convenient either. Eventually someone told us to bring the car in although we had concerns it wouldn’t make it and of course the car broke down on its was back to the dealership. We were then made to push the car back and take a taxi home. Which cost a fortune. Then they couldn’t update us on how the car repair progress was coming along for over a week. During this period of time they took out warranties in our names without contacting us for permission. Everytime we contact them they would say we needed to send an email but no one would respond to the emails. Eventually we were contacted 10 days later to say the car was fixed and ready for collection. We asked for a confirmation email on the issue and repair just to be certain everything was done before we travelled back down to collect it. This did not happen for 4 days we called and emailed and had no response. So we decided to make the journey and hope for the best. Upon arriving no one wanted to take any ownership for messing us around and not responding to our calls or emails for weeks leaving us with no car for nearly a month. They didn’t want to compensate us despite us paying for travel insurance tax for a car for a whole month while not having it or having use of it. We then had to argue with them to get the invoice and warranty put on the car to feel protected the best we could. Overall a very disappointing distressing experience. The people are rude and ill mannered, the office is small but they are reluctant to pass on messages to someone who is sitting in the next room to them. This is not what you expect when buy a car. We’ve just got the car back now, fingers crossed it’s fixed but we’ll have to take it for diagnostic's for peace of mind. I’d stay away if you have a choice to.
I purchased an XC60 from these guys in December 2023. They truly are cowboys and NOT trustworthy. Don't be fooled and please read reviews. Was sold a car with only one working key for a keyless entry car. On speaking to the sales team within 24 hours, they were aware the key wasn’t working for keyless entry and said to remove metal fob for entry and then place in ignition for a stop start car. The key fob does not start the ignition. This is simply a lie on their part. They had the key in a plastic wallet before I had paid the money so not something I could have tried beforehand. I trusted it worked as the paperwork says 2 keys not 1 working and 1 not. The Volvo main dealer said the key is not programmed to the car. This is the second key and I only found this out as the first key came up with low battery. They deliberately did not disclose this and the email from them confirms they knew. They are refusing to pay for a replacement which is £268. Not much to ask for when I had just given them £11,995. I had to open a dispute with the AA over this as they are an AA registered dealership, hopefully the AA will review this now, not a company you want to be associated with. After 2 months of arguing forwards and backwards, they have finally agreed to pay £200 towards the replacement key after the AA team told them to do it. They said they would only pay if I removed my previous Google review of them!!! Total fools to think I wouldn’t repost my experience once I received the money. Avoid using these cowboys. There is no after sales, just arrogance once they have your money. They are only interested in profit like any other second hand car dealer not reputation and happy customers. There are other cars and dealers, take your money elsewhere.
i got my first car from Tenby car supermarket and was feeling worried about getting the right car. Adrian was really great and made me feel very reassured. The communication has been brilliant and i feel really confident with my purchase. I recommend getting a car from Tenby car supermarket.
