Stopped in after looking at reviews and can confirm they are all correct. We had coffee and sandwiches. The coffee was well made and tasted good. The sandwiches were very tasty, freshly made and bread was nice and fresh. The idea of having fried sliced potatoes is brilliant as they work better than chips! Also they cook eggs how you like them (I prefer poached to fried) and they were very nicely done. If come back to Appleby will definitely call in again.

Lovely place, friendly staff, great atmosphere, lush food and drinks. I hear they have just started an evening tapas too.

Only went in quickly to see if they sold soup to take out and was told everything was available to takeaway. Was delicious homemade food and very quick service. Also the owner James was very pleasent and easy to talk to.
