The staff is always so lovely and super friendly. Brilliant customer service. Delicious bubble tea: so many flavours, options and many other treats. Absolutely love Tempo Tea Bar, it's definitely one of my favourite places! I sadly cannot go to Scotland these days but I've ordered from Tempo Tea Bar website! Great products and quite easy to use: each kit comes with instructions on how to serve it. Best bubble teas I've ever had. Taro is my number one. Looking forward to coming back!
Had been craving bubble tea since we returned from a recent trip to Vietnam, so had high hopes when looking through reviews. We were hoping to try a thai milk tea and a tiger stripe, however we were told the thai tea was not available upon our visit. We were served quickly, however the drinks did not resemble a tiger stripe tea in appearance or taste....it didn't reflect the high quality ingredients that tempo tea like to advertise using, and tasted more like a generic milk tea that we would have paid max £1.50 equivalent! for in Vietnam. Lovely wee shop but wouldn't return and will look elsewhere.
My bubble tea was average: I got a chocolate milk bubble tea with tapioca. Tapioca was, in my opinion, too gooey and slimey overcooked?. The chocolate seemed not to have been completely dissolved, as it felt a bit powdery. Besides, for £3.85 I would expect a much larger size. This is smaller than e.g. Frisky Froyo, and they do bigger teas for £3.50. But it wasn't horrible like my recent experience at Biju BT Room in London... I like that you clearly care about feedback - the feedback forms are short and can be picked up at the counter, but the questions are not very clear. I also love the stuff you have on sale - little cute Asian things, and all the accessories for bubble tea - reusable bottles and straws in different designs!, and the pearls you can buy to make BT at home. It's pretty cool that you have special drinks on offer, like kombucha, non-bubble teas but still tasty! and healthy, like the honey & lemon, and that Marie Skłodowska-Curie drink for fundraising for charity. Her full name is Marie Skłodowska-Curie, I think it's important as forgetting her maiden name that she UNDOUBTEDLY used after she got married, is supporting the patriarchy!! Perhaps I need to visit more to have a taste of more of what you have on offer. With the 10% discount the price is viable, so I'll definitely make use of that if I come. Prices would need to go down if you wanted to attract more customers.
tempo is a really cool place with great tea !! the servers are lovely and it's a great place to go with friends or by yourself. it has a trendy and friendly atmosphere and their rainboba tastes amazing. i have never had a negative experience here, i would really recommend it :

I got an original milk one topped with grass jelly, and it was pretty good as I drink in my country. There are many choices as well and I will try others again.
I love this place! The drinks are delicious and there's so many different flavour combinations and add-ons to choose from! Before the pandemic hit, it was a favourite place of mine and my friends to go to. We could never do a day out in Edinburgh without stopping at the Tempo Tea Bar! I will definitely continue to order products from their online store! Great stuff!
An amazing small business that deserves so much more attention. The staff are always so lovely, welcoming and accomodating. One of my favourite places to go! Love their bubble tea so much as well. Will sometimes get a train to Edinburgh just to get some Tempo tea and it's worth it every time!! Overall just a brilliant business with absolutely lovely staff and great treats!!
I ordered online as I am not near Edinburgh but the parcel arrived quickly and the personal touches inside were lovely. The bubble tea was tasty and easy to make and the popping boba was yummy and convenient. I will be ordering again soon as I was delighted with my order. Highly recommended!
Excellent! Lovely atmosphere and quick service, I got the rainboba and it was amazing! I think I'll get that flavour again next time!
