Enjoyed a wonderful stay here whilst cycling the Coast 2 Coast. A beautiful guest house, spotless and stylish bedrooms and friendly hosts. The breakfast and packed lunch was 5*. We visited a very quaint and lovely Alston, on a short break to enjoy the many walks nearby. Temple Croft was our venue of choice; Paul and Amanda were excellent hosts and certainly lived up to their 5-star reviews. Very comfortable beds and simply magnificent culinary skills on offer at breakfast and into the evening. Highly recommended!
Stayed here while cycling the coast to coast in August 2022. Excellent hosts very warm, welcoming and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was fantastic. Will be returning next time I'm cycling in the area.

Really nice hosts, both breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Stayed in the bunkhouse which was exceptional and also asked to look at other rooms which looked very nice. Heating on when required and host Paul who doubles as chef chatty without being overbearing. All in all great stay.
This is a lovely cosy top quality bed and breakfast right in the heart of Alston Town, Cumbria close to all pubs, shops, restaurants etc. It has large beautiful walled gardens and the whole place has a calm, relaxed feeling to it. The insides are decorated to very high standards and has a top quality look about it. Paul and Amanda, the owners, are perfect hosts and go out there way to make sure your stay is a great experience. Would deffo visit again and recommend anyone to try out this great place of accommodation in Alston, Cumbria.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in June 2022. Amanda and Paul made excellent hosts, food delicious, room Cherry Plum super comfortable - a peaceful oasis. Definitely recommend.
