Had very upsetting experience today. Had to wait for my daughter 6years to be seen for an hour and a half. Just one doctor working today! Needless to say how difficult it is to get an appointment. The lady before us had to wait even longer, with a 2-year-old constantly crying and just being upset. Please do have more doctors on site! Or provide realistic timing!
Anytime I have tried to get an appointment for myself or my child they are so reluctant to give you an appointment as they are always complaining of being short staffed. If you do manage to convince them to give you an appointment you’ll find yourself waiting a MINIMUM of 40 minutes to actually be seen anytime you have an appointment. Not to mention how unhelpful and unprofessional the staff actually are. Would definitely not recommend!
THANK YOU RIMSHA The front office service at TFGM is improving definitely & there is hope for patients to experience the level of service we used to have during Dr Harris & Dr C Rowbury’s time at the practice. Today for the second time I spoke to a wonderful staff member - Rimsha . She has been consistent in her approach whrn dealing with patient enquiries. Talking to her as the first point of contact, gives hope to be a patient at TFGM. We have exceptionally wonderful doctors but it’s always, the front office staff who create hurdles. I would like to thank Rimsha for all her support. When you raise an enquiry with Rimsha, & if she is unable to resolve the query whilst you are on the phone, she will definitely come back with an update. This is my personal experience and I am sure anyone who talks to Rimsha will feel the same. Thank you Rimsha.
I registered up for this GP in the end of 2019. I'm in good health, I exercise and eat well, so I didn't need to see a doctor for the first three years. Unfortunately, I had some serious stomach problems last year and had to turn to them, and I quickly discovered that seeing the doctor in person was really difficult; I was constantly forced to accept visits via phone. However, they did expose me to a series of extremely complex and invasive tests to screen for cancer. Some of these gets additionally pushed me to seek treatment sooner in private, paid facilities in Italy. After a year of hospitalisations and visits, thankfully all with negative results, I still have the same major difficulties. I went to a private clinic two months ago, partially because I was weary of feeling sick and partly because of this GP's lack of professionalism. They told me right away that I had a food intolerance and given me a plan to follow for a month. My problems had practically disappeared after a week. The private clinic advised me to get tested for intolerances and allergies such as gluten, lactose, and so on. They told me to return to my usual doctor and request that these tests be performed as soon as possible. I went to my GP today and discussed everything to the doctor who has been observing me lately. She wouldn't let me take these tests, only the gluten testing. She also refused to allow me to get a dermatological examination, which I had requested for months. She told me that she could only solve one problem per appointment, 10 min. max. Very good, but the government, they take my money to pay your salary in full, not just a portion. And I can't say no like you do. There is no problem, doctor. Every time I visit your centre, I note senior citizens who are desperate and upset at you, complaining about your service. So, since I can travel freely moving around, I registered with another GP as soon as I left your clinic today. I know I haven't done much, but perhaps you'll have a little more time for someone else from now on. And others will do the same as me, and there will come a time when you will have few patients to follow, and I'm sure you will be able to listen better, be kinder, and spend more time to each one. All the best Federico Usai
Just the worst !!!!! If you have a relative with them that passes I wish you luck !!!!! They were terrible! We had to cancel funeral as they couldn’t get paperwork done asking the most stupid ignorant questions, not filling paperwork out properly! Will be putting in a formal complaint don’t hold out much hope for a response!!!! Horrible reception they just don’t care ! Remember you are paying these people!!!!!!
I have been with this surgery for around 12 years, and when it changed hands, it has been an awful experience. I have a hernia, and was seen by two different GP's there, and did not get a referral to a hospital, they just said it would 'Stay like that', no care about the long-term health implications. I have often been 1 hour on hold on the line on the telephone, just to speak to a receptionist. They were supposed to make a referral to a specialist clinic, they did not send my ultra-sound for 6 weeks, which delayed my being seen, and I am still waiting. only found out about it as I insisted on being given the number, and rang them myself. They are very incompetent, uncaring, and the health department should shut them down. Don't bother registering with them, as they don't care for patients, or their health.
The worst possible GP surgery that could possibly exist! The most useless receptionists almost feels like you talking to a robot.
I have complex physical and mental health issues and the practice manager calls to ask me why I need so many appointments...stuff you! The doctors here don't seem to think they owe me the same duty of care as everyone else...one rule for me and another rule for everyone else! Absolutely disgusted with this and I will be registering a complaint with NHS England and changing gps. Shame on you Dr Taylor.
The worst practice ever. After waiting for more than one hour on the phone receptionist put the phone down on me. Every time I call to book appointment they don’t have appointments. When I go to the practice they are very abrupt and not polite. Unprofessional and worst practice in London. How this kind of practice is even allowed to be opened. Do not sign to be their patient as you will never be seen.
I have been experiencing an ongoing health problem for years and I have been told that I have different conditions and each time was given different medications. I have been chasing the doctors as none of the medications were working. Finally, one of the doctors told me that I need to go for an urgent MRI scan and noroulogist. However, when I didn’t hear anything from them after 15 days and I went back to the GP, I was told by the receptionist that they forgot to send my urgent requests for the norologist and Scan. I wanted to talk to the practice manager, but I was told by the receptionist manager that the practice manager is at meeting and they will call me and I didn’t get any phone calls for that either. I don’t know what else to do, I think doctors are for help not to frustrate the partie ta more.
