nWhat a fantastic tackle shop.nHaving recently returned to sea fishing after more than 20 years away, I walked into Telboys Tackle knowing very little about modern sea fishing around Amlwch. From day one, Tel couldn't have been more helpful.nNothing has been too much trouble. He's taken the time to explain local marks, tides, rigs, bait choices and techniques, repaired my spinning rod while I waited, recommended tackle that suited what I was trying to achieve, and has never once tried to sell me something I didn't need.nHis advice has made a genuine difference. After struggling initially, I listened to his recommendations, changed my approach and started catching fish, including my first dogfish and conger eel from the local creek. That's down to local knowledge you simply won't find online.nIt's becoming increasingly rare to find a shop where the owner genuinely wants you to succeed rather than just make a sale. Tel is exactly that sort of person - knowledgeable, friendly, patient and passionate about fishing.nIf you're fishing anywhere around Amlwch or Anglesey, make this your first stop. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced angler, you'll receive honest advice, quality tackle and a warm welcome.nThank you, Tel. What a gem of a place, he had everything you could need for fishing but over and above was the level of fishing knowledge he was willing to share. Not simply selling you the kit but happy to give advice on best use for success. Thanks to your advice we had mackrel for dinner, my most successful fishing session ever!!!
Stayed in amlwch for 6 weeks dropping in to the shop as and when needed.nTerry is true gent and an absolute credit to this little town.nBy no means is this a angling superstore but what it lacks in stock it makes up in angling knowledge and passion.nWhat this store really has is the essentials/bait at extremely competitive prices.nTel will go above and beyond to see you right, always try and call him before you visit the shop is my advice.nLong live telboys ,excellent little shop there.
We went to tell boys tackle today, not having an idea of what we needed to buy my late grandad got me into carp fishing, going in this shop made me feel i was sat back with my grandad brought back amazing memories! , i cannot reccomend this shop enough, went above and beyond to help us! Such reasonable prices and going in the shop has honestly made my day. Thank you so much for your kind heart, we wish you nothing but the best for your shop!!
my husband needed to get baits so we stopped by this shop. inside the store had some eclectic items nothing to do with fishing which was funny. the guy at cashier was friendly and helpful. every thing he got was reasonable priced.
