Always a good place to walk in all seasons, preferably when quieter! Much flora and fauna to be seen and photographed if you have a camera or even phone, sometimes nice to just keep still, watch and listen.
Lovely place. Good parking. Great combination of habitats. Marshes riverbanks and woods. I saw first housemartens of the year at one hide. Kites patrolling the Marsh. Other predictable waders such as Curlew on the estuary. The gorge walk was surprisingly challenging which was a joy. Interesting views of the old slate quarries tucked in the woods next to the High riverbanks. Take your GPS with you to be sure of where you're going.
Never fails to amaze me walking around the reserve. I have been lucky enough to see Water Buffalo, Kingfishers, Starlings, birds of pray, not seen any deer or otters but there is always time for another visit
First time back sine April last year and as always I came away with lasting memories.nThank you all for managing the wetlands it is very much appreciated.
Incredible scenery and amazing wildlife trails which show the beauty of West Wales.
