"Lights, cameras, action! Teatro Lounge is in the same building as the fabled Curzon cinema in Clevedon, which contests the crown of the oldest working cinema in the country. We may not claim to be the oldest café bar in the country, but we can certainly claim to serve a fantastic range of food and drinks including full kids, gluten free and vegan menus in a really relaxed, welcoming, beautiful space with just a hint of 1920s Hollywood glamour. That’s a wrap! Or a panini."

Friendly place with good food. There is a small problem with parking because you have to use the parking of the nearby shops.
Menu is quite a mixed bag of cuisine. However what I ordered was excellent.
Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Brilliant place to take the kids for a weekend breakfast. Let down in the evening by a shortage of staff and zero choice of real ale I can never get male friends to meet at the lounge because it's has the worst choice of beers in Clevedon. Decent selection of Gins but served in children's tumblers rather ruining the illusion that you've escaped from the home and kids for the evening!
Usually good but disappointing this time. Both servers were great. Let down by the kitchen. One breakfast had cold mushrooms, other breakfast had no mushrooms brought up by server on request, bacon and egg brioche did not have the bean salsa or red pepper ketchup on it corrected by server, bread only toasted on one side, the ordered extra mushrooms and sausage never appeared.
Lovely place. But was dissappointed for the second time in as many visits. On both visits food took way too long to arrive. Today we wanted soup each and pot of tea for two. Ordered a soup for one of us, but unfortunately no vegetarian option for the other. Ordered toast instead. Tea arrived in good time but waited a whole 19 minutes for the soup and the toast. Soup and ciabatta arrived with no butter, and the toast was completely cold. I pointed this out to waiter, who took my toast back, but instead of making me fresh hot toast, they put the toast back in the toaster thus then serving me burnt toast! We will never visit again Vegetarian options: No vegetarian soup
Atrocious service today. Waited over an hour for food. It became clear our order had been missed. When we went up to the bar to enquire we were told 'it's on its way'. No apology. Finally got it after another wait and yet more customers had theirs first. Thoroughly miserable dining start to the New Year.
Decent, always quality food in the Lounges. Friendly staff and a chilled environment to nurse a hangover. Only 4 stars because they got mine and my brother's orders mixed up a bit.Food: 4/5
Lovely outside building and the inside is very cosy, attractive, warmly decorated and spacious with a bit of a nautical theme. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive and our Lounge Breakfasts were delicious even though my friend's fried egg wasn't cooked properly. The staff did take it back to do another fried egg but when it came back to our table, the rest of his breakfast was cold! Hence the reason I've given it a 3 out of 5, apologies Teatro Lounge! This is no reflection on the amazing serving staff but more on the kitchen's mishaps...! We'll be back to give it another go with breakfasts.
We do like the food and atmosphere here. The only downside is the service is seriously compromised by technology, the personal touch has gone and food turns up at the wrong time as does coffee etc, our last visit was a nightmare. Will continue to go there despite the drawbacks. Say no to the app.Food: 5/5
It was lunch time so very busy. Had to wait to be seated but the food was worth waiting for. Interacted with 3 members of staff all were pleasant and friendly.
