Lovely friendly staff. Clean and airy room. We ordered 4 simple afternoon teas, we had a choice of sandwiches and drinks, then huge, warm scones with jam and fresh cream. Everything was delicious. I will definitely return to this wonderful tearoom
Returned with husband for another toasted cheese sandwich as last week’s was so delicious! We both had the Simple Afternoon Tea which includes sandwich of your choice, freshly baked scone, clotted cream and jam and a drink of your choice. We had to pay slightly more for the sandwich being toasted worth it. Loose-leaf Earl Grey tea was great, melt in the mouth scone to die for and friendly quick service. This small family business deserves supporting for its excellent quality of food and drink, it’s welcoming, efficient service and excellent setting. They really can’t do enough for you - including serving half a slice of cake to those watching their waistline unable to resist the home-baked cakes!
Today me and mum mum visited Teapots. The vintage decor was very atmospheric and charming. We had the afternoon tea which came quickly, presented beautifully and definitely filled us up! Would recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for brightening our day!
This place is an amazing find, absolutely love it. I’ve been coming here for ages and it’s great, there are so many gluten free options and the staff are always lovely. I highly recommend it, the food quality is amazing.
This is a really good tea room. The food options have nothing fancy, but everything is really good quality. Delicious sandwiches and jacket potatoes, but the cakes are absolutely fabulous and always top notch. They also do afternoon teas which I haven't tried, but sound great. It's a small place and rightly popular so worth booking in advance if you'd like to visit, particularly at weekends. We like to visit with our children and their grandparents and all three generations love it. Parking can be a bit difficult in Olney when it's busy but there's normally room at the rugby club car park which is a short walk from the centre of town. Wheelchair accessibility: Not good accessibility. Step on entrance and toilets are on 2nd floor up steep staircase.
A proper old fashioned tearoom, a pure delight. Had a vegan fried breakfast with toast, jam, and a pot of tea, followed by home made malt loaf, all delicious. Lovely staff and owners. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
My experience far outweighed my expectations. I was surrounded by full rooms of contented scone loving connoisseurs, whilst enjoying the best jacket potato I've had since the 1980s. Thank you for the wonderful experience. PS the bathroom is a trip. Don't change a thing -:Food: 5/5
Lovely little tearoom with very friendly staff. Quick service, good quality food and well priced. Good options for vegans as well - they were very accommodating when it came to changing butter/milk etc.
Visited and had one muffin and poached eggs, and one muffin, poached eggs and smoked salmon. It was bloody lovely! Eggs good to perfection and plenty of salmon. Couldn’t resist following up with pancakes which certainly didn’t disappoint! Service is always with a lovely smile, and whilst we don’t visit regularly, when we do it’s consistently brilliant. Great work Teapots!
Quaint tea room. went for afternoon tea for a friend's birthday. Very expensive for what you get, pretty sure you could order all of it off the menu as separate items for less. Quality of the food was generally good, although nothing remarkable. Also the scones are served with whipped cream!? The Earl Grey was excellent. One of our group had a cooked breakfast. Looked absolutely terrible. Microwaved bacon etc. Paying turned into an unnecessarily complicated affair. The whole operation seemed quite unorganised and in need of some attentive management.
