Great Monday on the track. Staff friendly and helpful and ensuring safety at all times. Will be coming back again.
This karting venue has an excellent track. The pits are on another level, so part of the track is in a tunnel, and there's a mini fly-over also. We had a lot of spins and bumps, so unfortunately, there were a lot of yellow and red lights, which you have to slow or stop altogether. There is plenty of parking around the building and a bar to buy drinks.
Best experience, son's 11th birthday. We ordered food afterwards the guys were a bit short staffed but it didn't change the customer service. 5*. Very friendly and helpful
Leeds go Karting is always the best for staff efficiency and knowledge, the facilities are always the best and very clean. The toilets are always spotless and the new toilet facilities are very nice. The guy on the front desk is very knowledgeable, helpful and always chatty and cheerful. All the staff including Marshall’s are always attentive and know there job roles. This is what I like when I visit. Highly recommend Leeds Go Karting. My husband and son do like the track better at Leeds but has am just a spectator I much prefer Leeds for there staff, cleanliness, facilites and lay out of the venue.
Came as group of 10, at reception, we were greeted by Brad who was nice and friendly and checked us in promptly, he informed us about the £7.99 upgrade that includes gloves worth 2.50 and balaclava worth 3.99 plus exclusivity on the track for only our group and Grand Prix experience for the last track.nMy friend asked about the gloves as your website states these are provided, were told the upgrade for 7.99 pays for the exclusivity and Grand Prix exp and the gloves are a bonus. We already paid £40+ per person up front, and many of us already bought a balaclava prior to coming, but also as ladies with long hair we have to buy these special balaclavas. Never mind we felt a little misled, I accepted we decided to go for the upgrade also for exclusivity and Grand Prix factor.nnSo then came track time. We were told, first round practice, second round qualifier and third round Grand Prix. When the time came for the third round it was same setup as the other two rounds, we didn’t get the Grand Prix we were promised. So one of my friends went to ask the staff and they claimed it was a miscommunication, so interrupted our race halfway and put us into the Grand Prix start position.nThe only issue was that the positioning was random, not based on the results from the qualifier. This led to faster racers being at the back and it got overcrowded while they had to overtake other slower drivers. This had compromised the experience of the faster drivers as they’re not able to get their best time but also it was a total chaos due to accidents happening, bumping into each other, this random positioning also made it dangerous. At one point there was too many carts I think 5 in total on the top of the ramp but due to red lights being on, we had to stop at the top of the ramp and it caused a chain of accidents. One of my friend got whiplash. I understand the risks in go-karting however it was completely preventable and unnecessary if the staff hadn’t messed up the Grand Prix and had put us in the right position right from the start.
